Awesome pics, I want to buy this beast and fire it up for mining as soon as I get some additional funds, are there any better cards than this to mine with ? Just wanted to know, I am kind of new to GPU mining. Thanks again! Smiley

GPU temp seems pretty good at 63C. What is your ambient temp?

That is with the fan running at 100% so it basically sounds like a turbine powered aircraft on takeoff.

Wow, I am wondering what do you think about S7 or S9 fan noise, end of the world nuclear attack, lol. I ran 5 5 card 390 rigs in my 117F ambient garage at 100% fan, didn't feel aircraft taking off at all, but 480s could be different. I will know in 3 days, I have 12 coming from B&H.

A 390 will not sound like that due to the fact it is a different fan design.

Turbo style fans are MUCH louder than any of the tradition type fans and they create this distinctive sound from blow dryer to turbine at full power.  Watch a video online of the reference R9 290 at various fan levels and youll see what I mean.

I would like to see the speed in genoil miner and as well overclocking / under-volting possibilities.
