Hello,
I've got 2 different kinds of risers
the first type is doubled like this one
http://french.alibaba.com/product-gs-img/pci-e-pci-express-1x-to-16x-adapter-converter-riser-card-extender-flexible-extension-cable-cable-length-15cm-622081307.html
as you can see the data bus is doubled. And they work fine on all my 4 Mother board (asus p593, asus p5b, 2 msi gd80). they cost 20€ (yes VERY painfull)

however the second kind ( MUCH cheaper 3€) are exactly like this one
http://fr.aliexpress.com/item/High-Density-PCI-E-PCI-Express-16X-Riser-Card-Adapter-Extender-Flex-Flexible-Extension-Cable-Ribbon/504895520.html

Here the data bus is not doubled. They do not work on 3 out of 4 of my mother board. No matter how hard i try the best i can get is unrecognized graphic card. (the worst is not booting motherboard).
I got 4 of that kind +1 1->16x none of them seems to work properly.
On my p59, 6-7 year old motherboard they work just fine.

I suspect the 3.0 norm on the PCI-E
Has anyone ever solved this problem?
