I think there is a right place to sell it if you know the collectible section there are many are looking for casascius coins check this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=217.0
You can also tell them that you are only accepting fiat not bitcoin or altcoin.. Or the other option is to sell your coins in near to your place where they can buy  your casascius to real money..

Hi All,

I have a mint brass 2012 Casascius 1BTC fully loaded that I'm interested to convert to sterling. Short of fleabay (although it might come to that) any ideas/offers ?

I am NOT interested in selling for BTC and then selling off the BTC bit by bit (too time consuming and too many fees) and haven't identified any straightforward exchange for withdrawing into fiat (have I missed something- please educate me).

And while you're wondering out loud....how much would your reserve (sterling) price be if you were selling a similar item ?
