Safex is a scam

Ari Last from Simplex is advisor on SAFEX
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.56772443
https://www.simplex.com/about

Safex owns the exchange Xcalibra, in that exchange is possible to buy SAFEX with credit card using Simplex.
Safex is associated with Dascoin & Onecoin.

This is a huge red flag for Simplex, they have one of their own advising a scam coin.

Looks like I am another victim of simplex.com. I was kind of relaxed and didn't expect fraud as I was buying Ethereum from Jaxx Liberty wallet and seems like simplex.com is official partner with this wallet (so, I probably should not trust Jaxx too?) but it is more than 4hrs since money was withdrawn from my card and Ethereum is not received so far. Submitted a ticket to simplex.com support, waiting for response... but not with much hope after all feedback i red Sad

to verify what i am saying, this is my transaction: https://payment-status.simplex.com/#/payment/37019a10-333d-4482-89ac-44ea7e49f883 <-- for the website log only.
This transaction shows that is already confirmed. and the address where from sent the eth is : 0xB9D4eFE691a1e946Cce7060C27E8B02464032a59
And the etherscan is showing the eth completely send to poloniex. But have not received any token. In this case, Poloniex did not send the fund, did not it? So the problem is from poloniex end or simplex?

i thought it was a scam, i am sorry for this case, and i was about to edit the post that this is already resolved. Smiley

i wanted to make a new topic out of this, but i have decided to reply here to concentrate the topics.

i got scammed of like $80 for this website, which i bought with fiat in simplex through Poloniex, and the transaction didn't happen for more than 2 hours. it feels like shady now, and i have already paid the amount. email said that the transaction was approved, but nothing else since then.

to verify what i am saying, this is my transaction: https://payment-status.simplex.com/#/payment/37019a10-333d-4482-89ac-44ea7e49f883 <-- for the website log only.

now that i have to contact Poloniex about this, and hopefully they will remove that service until this is resolved.

fortunately, it is fully resolved for this case. Smiley

Guys ,

I was planning to buy Bitcoin from BTC.com but they wanted me to do $50 (close to 3500 INR) which is the minimum requirement. I saw Simplex.com was the credit card processor to take in $50 so I did the transaction but at the same time Simplex asked me to provide ID's for the verification (this was supposed to be done before the transaction). They charged my Mastercard and my ID was rejected in a few minutes. I'm sure their verification system is pathetic.

Transaction Date: 6 May 2019

Today: 13 May 2019 (as of this comment) Refund didnt happen

I want people who got scammed should support me in this: https://www.change.org/p/simplex-com-simplex-com-refund-those-you-scammed

You can take a look at their email and bank transaction proofs I have here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1sLd-iSoMkxNK3fmkgmbapPy0jVUUqRlx

They are full of lies and I'm 100% sure they hold my money.

When people just create an account to create scam accusation and then leave the forum at least do not use that account then it becomes difficult to know either that is real or not and what happened latterly. I saw3 accusation against Simplex and all are created by a brand new account and created only to create scam accusation. In this point, I am curious to know those people how came to know about the forum and exact board when become scammed. Actually, this type of accusation makes me negative thinking much more to those people who create such a post and vanished away.

hi you should quote the entire post and not just a portion Smiley  you find clearly more information!
How it continues?

after reading this post, I went to consult doctor knows everything (google) and I found many comments from people who are complaining about the bad services provided by simplex.com. Some comments are very sad

" Are people getting their money back …
Are people getting their money back from this?

I'm another one of the people who's had his money taken from my account without any delivery of Bitcoin. It's been 19 hours since the funds left my account and I can't get as much as a response from Simplex.

I'm now getting concerned as to whether I'm going to get my money back at all. Since Simplex do not respond can somebody confirm that any of these problems are actually being resolved. Are you getting Bitcoin/refunds? How long is it taking? Do you get anything other than automated responses?

One star is too many for a service that has caused this much stress and uncertainty.

Edit: I've now seen that Simplex have closed my service ticket and marked it as resolved. Nothing has been resolved. I'm still waiting for communication and for delivery of my Bitcoin. I'm now concerned that nobody is even looking into this as the ticket is closed.

we still have to trust people online -- people we never meet personally.

And adding the fact that many websites operate without licenses, without physical office... makes our problem even greater, because we do not know where the office is located to solve our problem as soon as possible.

Anyway if you google it, it's full of complaints from several years, so yes this a scam.

I'm not sure about the other people but my experience is real and I have evidences what they have done.
When an accusation is perfect then that can be helpful for the community a lot. Even who does not use bitcointalk can check the post from google search. So, the information should be real.

Hey there @gopu5 can you talk more about your transaction with Simplex.com because I have seen a Reddit post which is pretty similar to your case but the OP has been contradicted by a lot of users of the same service. Other recent post like this one has also receive the same feedback denying that the service is doing any kind of scam and they have more than one transaction with them. This is probably just an isolated case that can be resolve by forwarding an email to them.
