Hey all,

Just wanted to follow-up with a negative experience.

I placed an order on January 5 under the agreement (via private message) that they would ship an antminer within 10-15 days. They didn't. On Jan 20, watching antminer prices drop to 1.9 BTC here on the forums, i offered them the opportunity to still ship it to me expedited. They told me it would likely ship out Feb 9. I canceled my order with the reason "seller did not ship on time" and they refused to honor the cancellation, repeatedly reopening the order, until I changed my reason to "I ordered the wrong product". As of now I've changed the reason to that and they have still not processed the cancellation. If they don't by end of tomorrow (they probably will — their communication is good, just not their commitment to shipping) I'll just do a chargeback with VISA.

I'm sure lots of others had good experiences, but since I opened this thread I thought it's worth posting the outcome. Thanks.

Hi Sir,

We take much more holidays because of Chinese New Year holidays than our government holidays notice.
Normally from 10th,Jan to 10th,Feb. This is a big holidays in China every year.
Please ask for approval from your other Chinese friends. So there is big difficulty to ship out goods during these days.

I have checked our staff accepted your cancellation requirement.
We can offer you better price if you would like to come back again and provide this password, "BITCOINTALKUSER303CHONGXINGOUMAIZHINENGYONGYICI"

Best Regards,
Li.Zhiren

Bummer.

But at least you've been able to give them a review here and you'll be able to do the same on Alibaba Express.

I ordered from SinoSigma's alternate store
http://www.aliexpress.com/store/534873

I contacted SignoSigma and they said they had only one other storefront via AliExpress and received the 230 GH/s Avalon miner on time, as promised.

I utilized the AliPay (ESCROW) for my order.  If I wasn't happy with the miner they wouldn't have been paid by AliExpress.

Quite happy.  Paid $3007 + shipping.  Shipping was expensive but it arrived within 2-3 days.

Here's a link to the snapshot of the one I ordered.

http://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/311091148.html

The miner does have actual SinoSigma stickers attached.  Looks nice.  Works perfectly.  No issues.

The AliExpress system accepted my credit cards.  Only issue was that I had a $2500 daily limit on my credit card.  Thus I had to make two payments (with two different cards) to get the $3007 + shipping (around $300) to the seller.

Not a problem. Very smooth.  Would do business again.

If they'd ship them to me here in the UK and take credit card as payment (safer for all concerned) then i'd be buying one. Sadly, it looks as though they don't.

Hi All,

When I search our brand Sinosigma, we found this topic.
I am the CEO of this company Guang Zhou Sigma Technology LTD.
We tried our best to serve all of our custmers.
We are not scam, we are also bitcoin fans.
"They are a gold supplier (verified, highly rated) on AliBaba. " Yes, right, we are also Alibaba verified gold member.
Yes, they are all real feedback, though not 100% 5 stars.

www.sinosigma-europe.com  is not our verified reseller, I will contact them to take off all Sinosigma logo.

Best Regards,
Li.Zhiren

They are legit, or at least my order in last september was delivered, meanwhile i found out they have a reseller at europe (www.sinosigma-europe.com), which is more fast to deliver to EU because there is no need for customs, so i'am not buying anymore directly from china, my last orders were from the europe partner (the only problem is sometimes their stock ends and they only have available 1 month later).

I did order. AliExpress is good about buyer protection it seems, though, and I can cancel very easily.

They are a gold supplier (verified, highly rated) on AliBaba.

edit:

and lots of good feedback on their main account:

Hi all,

http://www.aliexpress.com/store/534873

There's a thread on here where many people suggest this person is a scammer. Then there are other threads that indicate others have bought product from them.

Can anyone confirm or deny the legitimacy of this company? Wondering if I should cancel my order...
You already ordered?
I'm pretty sure this is a scam. They have less than 10 feedback on AliExpress, and the stickers seem to be masterfully photoshopped into the pictures.

Plus this Avalon miner:

Is linked by "Home > Store Home > Products > Friedcat 38G BOX Miner"
