There are sites that will generate a QR code for you. Copy-paste the address, and you have your QR code.

A photo of the QR code will work, too.

The work around I am looking at is due to when bitcoin was around $22K, my mycelium wallet grabbed $22 for loading it and I lost another $22 sending it to the final destination. Made me think there has to be a better way then being nibbled on.

Its bad enough that I pay 9% at this btm and the price is always more than what is really current price.

There are many better option available which have QR code in their mobile wallets.

blockchain.info, electrum, coinomi, jaxx are few examples. You can also consider them as safe wallet to store your bitcoin so rather use them to buy bitcoins directly from ATM by scanning QR code shown within the mobile wallet.

Good luck...

Thought this would be something people would know or answer, guess not.

I looked at the QR code for the site and compared it to the blockexplorer QR code and they look different.
Not knowing enough about QR codes, I am not sure if they need to look the same.

To be safe I just took a photo of the sites QR code and will see if the bitcoin atm reads it if I just end up typing the address manually.

Kind of hard to find info on this situation and it surely could not be that uncommon.  Undecided

Hitting a bitcoin atm tomorrow and want to bypass my wallet(mycellium) and deposit directly from the atm to the site which has no QR code available from my cell.

So I can manually type the address which I might fuck up.
Scan QR code from blockexplorer that I see when I paste in the deposit address.

Any other ways to do this and are the QR codes on blockexplorer reliable?

Any ideas??
