my credit is pretty phucked so i doubt anyone would bennifit from obtaining my ssn. I would still be pissed off though if somebody was showing it to the world to see.
1 of 1000000 Services that do this in the world. if you are worried call the Secret Service and register a complaint.
Why would the Secret Service care about your Social Security number?
If they stole it to commit a financial fraud this is who you contact.

Today the agency's primary investigative mission is to safeguard the payment and financial systems of the United States. These include crimes that involve financial institution fraud, computer and telecommunications fraud, false identification documents, access device fraud, advance fee fraud, electronic funds transfers and money laundering as it relates to the agency's core violations.
Sure, but until a financial fraud is committed, I don't think they are going to look into anything.

If you just "register a complaint" that some service is "showing it to the world to see", I don't think the Secret Service is going to care much.

Why would the Secret Service care about your Social Security number?

The U.S. Secret Service has two distinct areas of responsibility:
Financial Crimes, covering missions such as prevention and investigation of counterfeiting of U.S. currency and U.S. treasury securities, and investigation of major fraud.
Protection, which entails ensuring the safety of current and former national leaders and their families, such as the President, past Presidents, Vice Presidents, presidential candidates, visiting heads of state, and foreign embassies.

Social Security Number is a public number.  There is no reason to expect that your SSN is a private number that nobody knows.  I'm no more worried about someone having my SSN than I am about them having my name or my address.
Why dont you post it? See how long it takes you to get your identity stolen. With that and just a few personal details it'd be easy to get a credit card in your name.

Everything this guy is offering is basically an extremely easy way to ruin someones credit and make their life hell with identity theft.

I see a lot of people happy with his service. I am not a fan. The user danieldaniel had you look up my information. I am not a scammer and I do not appreciate you giving some kid my personal information. Complete bull shit. I cant find where it is illegal in the US to do what it is you are doing but this helps scammers not sellers. It make it easy to set up fake accounts and steal identities. This is an awful service and should be removed.

Ya you cant set up accounts and mess with someone with just their address. It is un-ethical to sell SSN. I am surprised to find that it is not illegal.

It is in the US.
