Another altcoin being developed in Rust:

He replied to my PM and said they are still working on it. Seemed to imply to me in PM they had another solid year of development ahead.

Afair, Skycoin is programmed in Go. Here some of my quickly researched findings about Go:

Sharing a private message:

Btw, Go sucks as a replacement for C++ templates and anyone using that doesn't understand well modern Generics programming language design, which includes Ethereum:

http://yager.io/programming/go.html

Also the marriage of a GC with what is intended to be a low-level systems programming language seems to be a mismatch:

This coin in development longer then bitcoin.
I prefer not to participate in ICO because of the terms were: 2.5% of coins will be sold at 100 mil marketcap valuation.

Does anyone remember Skycoin (was first announced in December 2013)? I just realized they ran a private and apparently rather hidden ICO (no escrow?) for a fixed price of 2500 Skycoin per Bitcoin.

Update.

The IPO sold out in four days. People are reselling token skycoin for 4x 2nd ICO/IPO price.

We have four new developers, each assigned to one task.
Where?
