Steam accounts are very very cheap (few dollars).
If you are lucky you can get a good deal because you have 2 good modern games.

it doesn't matter whether you played multiplayer or not. as long as you entered the serial into steam, it's worthless. you can't transfer a game either, as it's against steam policy.
I have both of these games on a steam account. These were legitimate store purchases. The MW3 has never been played multi player.
