Slow speed is one thing...the card I'm using running at 1/4th of it's potential is not. Also moving the cards around has proven that the problem can be fixed somehow...that was back with only two cards though.

As for the PSU this is the one I got.

I also got a watt meter, and at full load, it draws 950 watts or so. So basically I've got 250 watts of overhead. Cheesy

As for the problem happening before with only two cards, yeah, that was annoying, but somehow swapping the PCI-E port of the two cards fixed the problem. *shrugs*

The reinstall happened when I installed the third card, but yeah, before the install, everything was working just fine. Also, the computer doesn't shut down, I just get a black screen with nothing on it. The computer is still on, but no video feed is being sent to the monitor.

Errrr.... What? Were you having problems before the clean install with new/different cards? I've never heard of that.

Is the restart problem only happening when mining?

"Random" restarts or program exceptions, generally the first thing you want to look at is the RAM, both because the sticks are prone to being the first component to fail, and because it's super-easy to take all out but one, and if the problem persists, try one of the other ones.

Could be a PSU issue. Do you know your PSU wattage specifications? Is is enough to support the cards and the other general power usage that your computer needs?

Everything is at stock, with no adjustments, so that takes care of voltage, and clocks. Since I had an issue with just two cards similar to this the intensity is 20 and 19 for the two 7950s, and 18 for the 7970. Also I am curently using GUIminer-scrypt for mining feathercoins. As for the temperature, since the above values are starting from cold, not all that high. However, when the temperature peaks, around 77- 79 per card when all cards are running at the same time.

Thanks to Windows having to be reinstalled when you add/rearrange the video cards (thanks Microsoft) I've had to perform a clean install when adding a new graphics card. Okay, fine, the only problem? The computer keeps shutting down when I mine!

I have a 1200 watt power supply that is Platinum rated, two GTX HD 7950 cards, and one GTX HD 7970 card. The current hash rate I am getting is 54, and 72 for the two 7950, and around 600 for the 7970. Before installing the second 7950 the usual hash rate was around 300+.

Also, because that's not bad enough, the computer quicks working, and I have to restart it to get anything on the screen to come back up. If anyone can help me figure out what is wrong I would greatly appreciate it, because this is beyond weird.
