I have about 20 Th/s to throw somewhere and was wondering where to put it... I see Kano pool to be at 27 ph and slush about 214 ph, is there a difference between finding a block every 1-3 hours as opposed to once every 18-48 hours? Thanks for the input.

Well I've been at Kano's pool since last may. Experimented with some other pools too but now I'm back and not planning to move anywhere else for a number of reasons. But don't believe me or anybody else - try both pools and decide for yourself.

PS: and write some words here when you have made your choice. Just being curious))   GL!

So it basically would be better in a lower fee pool since in the long term it is the same in terms of variance?

Yes, but mining a block can be difficult enough that the smallest pools will seldom mine any blocks and you might find it difficult to reinvest or struggle if you need relative financial stability.  If it's only for disposable income or enjoyment though, this won't matter and I would argue that Kano pool is big enough for this not to matter too much.

We being testing Kano out. Love it. We have moved over to Kano. The 2 biggest reason for switching is 1: very good payouts 2: Kano respond quickly to any questions

EDIT: BTW we didn't switch from Slush. Its from one of the large pools. I can not speak about Slushpool, I never used it

I used to mine at Slush until the problems he had with genesis mining last year. It costs all of us mining a lot of BTC over a 3 month period. Even after multiple warnings and questions from miners that something was wrong.

I switched to Kano.is pool last year in Feb and have been very happy. The front end web interface isn't as flashy, but once you learn it, there is far more information and transparency than Slush. And Kano responds quickly to questions, unlike Slush.
