Hello, I've been looking to buy products directly from China using sites such as alibaba to find suppliers.
I am looking for advice regarding importing food flavors and fragrance chemicals to Australia.
However I'm finding it increasingly difficult overcome any potential pitfalls of dealing with Chinese suppliers(ie. customs, ensuring product quality etc)

So if anyone has experience with Chinese suppliers and dealing with customs I would love to hear your story and any advice.

Thanks

I made a lot of import from china and I can give you this advice: Never deal with a Chinese without met him personally or you will being screwed. He will send you scrap or run away with your money.
For the custom, I advice you to use a broker for your first import. Ask him all the paper you will need to clear the custom properly.
