He wants you to send the collateral to him first before you get the bitcoins as loan.
Like I said on my reply to you on my lending thread. You are better of selling those than getting a loan. The fees a alone for the interest and transfers will eat up the whole collateral and there is really no much growth there in terms of it being an investment.

Yeah, but usually lenders also charge the TX fee to the borrower on top of the interest fees.

I can fund this loan, you can send the collateral either to me or any valid escrow on the forum provided you pay their fee (the latter would be preferred as it'd save me the effort of making a new monero wallet to hold the collateral and it's safer for you aswell)
