Well shoot the other two dropped off and now its just me all by my lonesome.  :/

Probably take a week at this rate to find another block.  Might have to move over to another pool and just write off the last couple days of shares then.  Bummer.

Hey thanks.  I'm sure if I stuck with it long enough a block would be found.

I suppose part of what I'm asking is this: "If there are only a couple miners on the pool are you essentially solo mining at that point?"

Because I know I don't have the hash rate to be doing that.

Seems like it, depending on the Pool operators sharing policy when it hits a block, most probably most of the shares are with you a bit difference when solo where all rewards goes to you.

I understand it takes longer to find blocks.

Is there a point however where there is no hope of finding a block in any reasonable timeframe?

For instance if you are on a pool with only 3-5 miners.  And hash rate (phi algo) is in the 300 MH/s or less range.  Is it a complete waste of time?

There is what you called a pool luck, a probability for mining, there are computations on how to determine a supposedly mining blocks for a pool.

take a glance with #3 stated by xhomerx10 kudos to him

3) nothing as it is random and unpredictable - though if it is continually unlucky perhaps you should avoid the pool
