Don't do a project for the sake of it

Spend quality time here, get a grip on the ecosystem and its pain points

Solve a real problem

The best way is to start doing *something*, even if you are not solving some particular problems and no one will want it right away.

Start getting comfortable with toolchain and programming, and very soon you'll see the pile of problems that are crying for a pair of good hands. So abandon your first experiment and start working on real problems this time.

Use your own brain - i have new ideas every day only by reading this forum. You can even build similar services like you see here but with your own attitude. Meh, ideas are almost for free, execution is hard work

I think part of the problem there is that it's manual data entry that has to be maintained regularly

It'd be nice to have a more comprehensive hardware comparison chart site thing that shows GHs/$ in an accurate way, most of them I found are out of date or not comprehensive.

Hi all,

I really want to push out a site or something, make some friends on here and start contributing.

To get the ball rolling, I know the speculators could probably use a charting site that charts currencies you can't trade directly (e.g. USD/PPC). Haven't found anything like that yet..

Anybody have any cool ideas for small projects?
