🖤😏

Absolutely right, I said kind of the same thing above, but that was my personal opinion, now we have an official one.
I just wanted to point out where he is heading.

You either contribute for the sake of self interest, or for the sake of helping, acting like this, demanding explanation for a tiny issue, makes it look like a self interest.

Don Hillary, for the love of God mark the report good, I don't know why these things are so important? I have visited my report page maybe 10 times in total. I don't know why we are used to fixate on small things while every second of our time could be used for something better.

I see signs of danger, like few months back  symm started the same way, lets hope it's not karma, I have experienced it few times recently.

Well I don't think it's a report that I would consider urgent or important and if someone else has marked it bad then maybe there's a reason for that. I personally wouldn't have marked it bad and sometimes in cases like this I would probably just choose not to handle it either way and if all mods do the same then it will just be purged anyway. Theymos has PMd op about it, but if the thread is locked/archived then you can certainly argue it might be an unnecessary report. The double posting is generally only really an issue when people make multi-posts to milk their signature campaign which at one point was quite prolific.

Could just be a mistake. Happens from time to time and if it was done accidentally the person who did it will probably be unaware.

Thanks for your input, hilariousandco! So reports from Archival board have no special rule for being automatically set to "Bad".
I just reported the post again. Let's see what happens now Smiley

Not that I'm aware of but I suppose a mod could have possibly thought the report was redundant given the thread was locked/archived.

I don't think there's a rule stating that reports from Archival board are set by default to "Bad"...

Since the moderators could make a mistake, I'd say it was a mistake.

The post wasn't old, so it's not fit to "cleanliness" issues.

Old post: We generally do not moderate posts this old for on-topicness, substantiveness, multi-posting, and other "cleanliness" issues.

The only problem is the post was moved to Archival where it's consider as trash place. Instead of "bad" I think it's much more like a "soft-bad" so it should stay in unhandled.

Because you don't officially mess with an international law enforcement agency by deleting or touching their posts. That could mean, "hey cops, did you just double post on our forum? Take this" (post deleted).  And when they mark it bad, is to let you know, "don't mess with the cops".

It's curious how you changed your mind since your previous statement.

Please refrain from double posting, you are in our territory now. Lol

Something you all should think about before taking any actions. if I remember correctly, there was this certain user who used to get mad when mods flagged his reports as bad, I think he changed his name and fell out of grace recently. 😉

The current state of the topic and its current placement are not an answer to my question.

Hello,

I have a small question for the mod of Archival board: on Dec 2nd I reported a post made by FIODNederland, with the following comment: "Breaking rule 32. Posting multiple posts in a row (excluding bumps and reserved posts by the thread starter) is not allowed.".

This post was the second post in a row made by the above mentioned user. However, my report was flagged as "Bad":

Just curious: why was it flagged as "Bad"? In the past I reported hundreds, if not thousands, such consecutive posts and my reports were flagged as "Good" and the posts were deleted. However, now the opposite happened. I would appreciate if the mod in charge will explain me this resolution.
