Hello everyone!
Not sure if this is the proper thread to post this, but I'll give it a try.
We're a R&D non-profit that seeks to design, develop and build small space satellites, while also adapting several technologies for space use. This includes blockchain, which we believe has great potential to drastically improve a number of data management and organizational processes in the aerospace sector. The team is currently working on our first CubeSat with a technology demonstration and basic science mission. However, we're also looking to trickle down the technological know-how and data from the project to partnering universities for free. This will allow them to improve their small satellite design and assembly capabilities, and help us lay the foundations of our long-term research program that involves blockchain applications for space use.
Our organization, the
SAT-1 Initiative, is funded entirely by private support and donations, which is why we launched a Bitcoin donation campaign.
This is the page of our campaign, and as an all-volunteer group all help is deeply appreciated!
I'll happily answer any questions related to the mission and our work, including how we plan to integrate blockchain in our future missions.
