Check the date from my quote.

I know you can change it, but it matches exactly.  I'm guessing it's just a bug with how SMF time stamps posts.
You've got 5 minutes to edit without getting the "last edited on..." bit. I've used it very often to fix spelling or wording fuckups.

Did not know that...

Now I won't put 'Edit:' if I do it right away, because I end up fixing things fairly often.

Weird. Yea, I got used to commenting on things below my posts from SA, but all I did was:

  • Click "quote" on the bottom post
  • Copy content from box
  • Click "edit" on my own post
  • Paste content into box
  • Visit Tysat's house and screen capture it
  • Create this thread on his computer for an excuse to talk to people

Now I won't put 'Edit:' if I do it right away, because I end up fixing things fairly often.

Me too.

Any idea how he would quote a post that comes after this?

His post shows as not being edited.  Does SMF timestamp when you started writing the post or when it actually goes up?
