Having celebrities pushing innovations in to the public domain reaches more of a mass media demographic. On that basis alone I think having celebrities promoting NFTs is probably better than not having them promote it.A lot of artists are now getting attracted to these NFT's, you're right they see big money because they are popular. so many fans are willing to pay thousands of dollars just to get these exclusive NFTs from their Idol.

I've watched a video of a person that gave a tour to that "what do you for a living" guy and that person, I don't know if Snoop's son or just someone that works for him.
