As much as I appreciate people using Bitcoin to learn economics, markets, etc, and to make some money from it as well through investments, I don't think that you could ever consider bitcointalk.org as any kind of serious investment forum, and the reason for that is because no one here is a serious investor.

It isn't about trolling, Atlas threads or scammers-- the real reason is because this forum is for developers and consumers, not asshole speculators who don't want to be involved. There are plenty of financial forums online that deal in SERIOUS INVESTMENTS, and I guess we have room for that here too--- but I don't think a thread in off-topic that is off-topic is hurting the price of bitcoin. That sir is tinfoil hat talk.
