If the tweet is real he is dammed if he made it dammed if he did not.

What he could have done was tweet a little transparency. I'm starting to think he either lacks basic social skills and/or has no regard for his customers that have trusted his company.

Lol not been keeping up on marks life and have no idea if that is real or not. Either way if he was running why on earth would he run to America ?
Way I see it most of the pissed off Mt Gox customers that own guns and have had massive problems withdrawing dollars are located in the US. Lol good luck Mark buddy.

True, but why on earth would he make a tweet like that knowing that the situation is as it is? I think he gets a kick out of it, if the tweet is real.

You're the lucky one. Bots didn't even talk to me Sad

MtGox is really sad story... Once the biggest BTC exchange. I thought nothing can take it down but owner's fails and competition were too strong.

Think so. However the real players usually have two files. One is for his own use, the other is for mtgox use, automated.

The first one, he never use on the target while the second one is automated, filled with amount, let say a thousand BTC. He thinks he is able to get more than that. 135 USD for one, the bot will find a suitable way to get more before the mtgox finally dies.

Let see how mtgox prevent this.

Reminds me of those stories you hear about people who die in their homes alone and aren't discovered for months due to their bills being on autopay.

I think it is probably an interesting thing for an academic paper to study a fully automated market tho!

Nice, that made me laugh hard.  These are really odd times, takes me back to when Bitfloor was around, oh those were the days.

Yeah it's so obviously artificial. You could argue it's positive though because Karpeles could let it fall to say, $50 and scoop those up at 1/5 the price?

I dunno, as much in the dark as anyone. We shall soon see I guess!

Ture, it is just crazy seeing it run.  I guess when everything comes to an end the bots can trade between themselves.  Sad.

Hey so I know we all could care less about Mt.Gox right now but wow has anyone looked at the charts?  That 261ish bottom has been going for a few hours and it just jumps up and down about 10 bucks.  You can tell when a human jumps in and buys and the price pops up 20 or 30 bucks higher but then back down.  Really sad just computer trading back and forth until news hits or someone pulls the plug.  Just had to share because that bottom line is so straight......"How straight is it".... you could could slice bread with that line, crazy financial thing I have seen in some time.

Can't wait to hear what Mt. Gox will tell us when they wake up over there.
