Computers and their derivatives are human creations, and indeed deliberately to be used as weapons. such as fighting ignorance, speeding up work, mass communication tools etc. but some of us make it something negative and destructive, so we must prevent and reject because it can harm others. Many who abuse it at least starting from themselves. so need to raise awareness

Computers are tools, they are not doing anything on their own. Just like money, and weapons; its the people using them or programming them that make a difference. You cannot blame it on the machines themselves.
You could extend this to media and many other things, they are truly neutral. A weapon is designed to kill, but you are not supposed to take it and use it to just kill anyone. It however could save your life from someone wanting to kill you...
So it goes both ways. You could go Amish and see if this helps things change or not. Like the Luddities of the past tried to fight machines and the industrial revolution by themselves. You have the freedom to stop using computers, but you would probably have to say goodbye to crypto and this place.

Don't even bother to read youtube or twitter comments. Nothing but paid trolls posting to push their agenda.
The old internet was better when less people were on it. Technology is something we should be afraid of instead of thinking it will improve our lives.

Not true at all.
The internet has improved the lives of so many, and has provided information and the ability to learn new skills to people that would have never had access to this information before. That's something that is an amazing improvement.
Tools like social media allow people to 'reunite' after Highschool or college, or from a past job.
Youtube helps to teach many new skills.
Reddit put people together to talk about specific subject areas.
The internet has done great things for many, it's not fair to think otherwise.

So let`s talk about the reverse, Name some ways the computer is controlling us, stealing liberty`s and not protecting us.
They are already using computers in drones, which our guns will have no chance at all against. This is the game ender btw guys. They go in their bunkers and kill us all, without nuking the land so they can inhabit it after.
I see it everyday on twitter, The presidents tweets are 99% bots. It has this monkey see monkey do effect, it happens all over youtube and twitch as well. People are being manipulated by fake numbers. I myself was getting view botted by a gaming company so I would keep playing their game when I was on twitch. I figured it out but many people fall into their viewbot traps. Thinking they have security when really they don`t. It also gives them power to push bullshit agendas all over online.
It is really bad these bots being used for fake likes and fake retweets, fake upvotes on reddit. It is like a skip to the front of the line cheat. Almost all the viral videos you see, were viewbotted. Go to the youtube trending section, those are the people they are viewbotting to make you view dumbass content that dumbs you down.
Privacy is a liberty the computer is taken, take a look at all the email leaks, password leaks and private information leaks company`s like facebook have nudes of your 12 yr old daughter.

I think computers have given us more free speech than we have ever had ever, before no public voices were getting through.
I think computers will give each person a right to vote in the future, vote on issues, not vote people to vote for them, vote where there tax money goes.
I think computers will distribute a fair money supply for once, not bitcoin, but using blockchain where everyone creates the supply through duration at the same rate.
