Topic: So i got a likely scam KYC form (Read 150 times)
I received a mail today asking me to complete KYC verification for kentra airdrop

Ok no problem!! but while completing the registration i was ask to confirm my eth address and they provided a link where i should validate my eth address.

The link (https://bit.ly/2y5s8Mi) led me to == https://myethérwállét.com/signmsg.html which was definitely a scam MEW site.

Note they weren't asking for key, but also providing an option were you can check your address balance or whatever
using your key.
GUYS JUST BE CAREFUL SCAVENGERS ARE EVERYWHERE. Do not give out your key for any reason whatsoever

You shouldn't have posted the links. Newbies would probably be clicking on that and then it might be stored on their browser history, and they might accidentally return to it later.
Just don't participate in airdrops that land in your email. If you REALLY want them, seek them out and then access from official websites. Email links are a big no-no, whatever the reason.

Actually this airdrops are from the forum. Just that they asked for email and later they send these messages. asking you to verify shit..
Sometimes i do go to all those email links just to have knowledge of their nefarious activities and how to avoid them and also block the site in my browser.
but before clicking a link i do a quick check using Virustotal

Thats why i never click links from my airdrop email and first go to project page or ask in telegram or discord. Also i never pass KYC for airdrops and of course - all pages bookmarked and my pk - just for my transactions. So many scammers everywhere, everything has to be checked twice.
