It's creating hype which is causing the price to stay in it's highs. But really forks should only be there to 'improve' Bitcoin. But quite frankly a lot of these forks have been a waste of time and people trying to sell their shitcoin by using the Bitcoin name and not improving on the existing framework already in place. I think segwit2x which didn't go through in the end was the only one actively looking to improve upon Bitcoin.

If those projects really wanted to be taken seriously they should come up with their own identity. They will always be second fiddle to bitcoin imo. Bitcoin Pizza? WTF?

Look at the bright side...and not the financial aspect.

20 forks from BTC but not a single fork from the most used forks.
Everybody is forking from BTC not from BCH or BTG.

Proves one thing, with a hundred thousands forks, "The Force Fork is still in BTC".

It's really disgusting, kind of like ICO's, there are only really a few good alternatives but most people are just trying to make cash.

This is mental, will most of these even be able to be traded on exchanges etc? If they are some of us could make a lot of money selling essentially worthless coins
