Just to update on this.

Bitcoincash has just just mined it's first 8MB block:

https://blockchair.com/bitcoin-cash/block/479469

It included 37,814 transactions.

Fee total    0.36267884 BCC*    106.99 USD

Fee per kB    0.00004535 BCC*    0.01 USD

1 cent per kilobyte is a nice low fee! But because there were loads of transactions, the miners made a nice chunk of change as well.

Bitcoin cash gets low transaction fee. This will allow bitcoin and bitcoin cash to grow in a random manner. Transaction fee has been solved, but at the same time the users benefiting from mining will decrease to a large level. This is all because of the increase in the blocksize and the mining cannot be done by common users as the past days.

Maybe their transaction fee will be low, this might be on both coins, but a few months from today, this will be completely clear to know which will be the leading coin.

Arent btc transaction fees 0 now with Segwit?

I don't think we have Segwit yet. And I don't think the fees would ever be 0 because it's what miner would get as reward after the issue of all bitcoins.

I've read that bitcoincash is improving (for some) three features of bitcoin and the process of transaction is one.
Will the transaction fee decrease, or will be lower than bitcoins?
They would both have a lower transaction fees, since bitcoins would have a faster transactions, therefore it would require cheaper transaction fee and maybe we can go back to using 10k satoshi as fee again. Also bcc would have cheaper fees logically because transactions there would surely be fast requiring only the recommended surely but still I would like to use bitcoin either way. I hope bitcoin price would not drop that much by tomorrow or the next day.

I don't think that will bring any breakthrough for the BCC
Therefore, BCC won't be able to reach the capitalization from the BTC and even if they improve what the BTC is entangled, it won't make them have a great influence.

Right now, it has zero effect on BTC price, so I have some serious doubt it will be successfull. People cashed BTC out of alts to have free BCC, BCC will be dumped really hard for sure. Every airdrop coins are dumped hard, so this one will not be an exception.

When will we have final picture of split process? Today?

Yap in some minutes of after 10am

I've read that bitcoincash is improving (for some) three features of bitcoin and the process of transaction is one.

With cheap fees, it will both happen to BTC and BCH or BCC in some quarters because if that wont happen then I don't see any need for this whole scenario in the first place but that does not mean it will be adopted massively even if its cheaper than BTC because there are several major exchanges not supporting the coin which might limits its use thereby its popularity. Hopefully, in the coming days things will get clearer and everyone will be able to decide the direction to follow.

Bcc also has bigger mb than btc and but off course it has no Segwit yet. Even though bcc is bigger in size there is still a chance that it will only be dumped after the hardfork. This i think some of the reasons why some exchange sites won't support bcc because of that event. Give it few weeks or even months then we will see if bcc really is a successful coin split.
