why would they try to earn some money while on the other end they hurt reputation that can cause more damage rather than profit.

They obviously made a mistake, simple as that.

For every FTC dumped someone else made a profit. Blame yourself for panic and emotional trading. FTC would have been represented on many other exchanges.

Even when CNC was announced to delist even days before it got pumped several times.

Maybe low volume, volume spiked after announcement and they changed their minds?

It's about time -- All merrit accepted !!!
I think it pretty obvious what went down and I strongly doubt anyone connected with development of the coin is responsible but one never knows.
This was nothing more than a way for someone to spread disinformation with the only reason behind it to make a few bucks.

Just remember there are many exchanges to do business with.
Even if one says 'hey we plan on dropping this coin' it should have little effect on the long term outcome.
All that exchange does (unless it has an orderbook with cobwebs) is miss out on making the money in fees that the other exchanges will gladly ring up.

Now if a smaller coin not traded on more than one place a little different picture.

Don't be so easily misled by anything anyone says.

The more valuable btc gets the more creative people are going to become to empty some of your wallet or all of it into their own.

Personally I think it was incompetence rather than a scam, but either way it's going to hurt their reputation.

I'm just curious. For those who don't know, they had news saying FTC was going to be removed.. FTC prices crashed 57%.. then they come back and say it's not going to be removed. Looks like quite  a few people lost money. Did anyone see how long it was between them saying it was to be removed and then not? Were they bribed to not delist it? Were they blackmailing FTC? Was it an honest mistake?!!?
