my backup pool mine.co still works like a charm (has more ghashes now than usual...but a few more stales too - at least for me)

nice contact... no fees.. even pays out transaction fees found in the block

ozco.in has Perth based servers, good ping if you're in australasia, and so far good uptime. They've had 2 blocks in the last week, 27 Ghps.

Lol Organ of Corti?

ozco.in the new Australian pool servicing Aus NZ and SE Asia miners, 2 week birthday today, nudging 40Ghash/s and 361 users

If it's about advertising, I'll throw http://btc.x8s.de in the ring Wink
Still small (between 3-4 GHash) , but we're working it Cheesy

yep, especially nice for miners from the EU. No idles and nearly no stale/invalids Smiley

I think I've got the worker servers stabilized... *knocks on wood* - of course, as soon as I click post, they are all going to crash. I should probably not click post.

But, as Organofcorti said, we have AU/Asia server, EU server and US servers.  https://eclipsemc.com !

Yerrrssss, kiwiasian? Do I know you from elsewhere?

Lol no but I find it amusing that you have an ear organ as your username.

An ear organ? It's *the* ear organ! My favourite bit of the peripheral auditory pathway, anyway.

At least you didn't think it was some dirty nickname. Maybe I should have used "basillar membrane"?
No, I guess that sounds dirty too  Grin

*sigh*

So, given ozco.in a go yet?
Eclipsemc also has eu, us and australasian servers, although still ironing out some bugs.

cheers

Continuum Pool's proportional method could use your Mhashes, as it hasn't found a block in two weeks!  Shocked

+1 They also have PPS.

lol, scratch that, now Continuum has crapped out!

BTCGuild has gone through a major growth period lately.  Eleuthria has added a ton of new servers and done some crazy load balancing and synchronizing.  I stuck with him through the torrent of idle errors and right now his cluster of servers is doing pretty good.  All the pools have problems from time to time.  I suggest using the -fXX method with a backup pool if you need 99% uptime on your mining boxes.  That's the only way to guarantee you are hashing all the time.

So you suckers are the ones that are making BTCGuild misbehave? You are freeriders. You dont belong to the great pool of BTC Guild. Only natives of BTC Guild should be admited. You are not original BTCGuilders! Go back home, we dont want you here! Buhhhh!

Cheesy

I'd rather mine on a pool that has a high hash rate so that it can regularly find blocks and not have my payment periods spaced out.

Plus, no UI for my mining data...

Yep, I can confirm Slush is back up. I have the option of their going there or Swepool for the time being...

Swepool works but I'm getting connection problems left and right.

I've running BTC Guild and Deepbit as a backup miner currently, and I haven't had any lost time with this setup.  Simply run another instance of your miner with a -f larger than the -f (if you use one) for your main miner.

Slush's is down, and apparently they have an IP whitelist, but I have no idea how it works. I don't see any details on it.

Deepbit is giving everyone connection problems.

Swepool was at 0GH/s last time I checked because of some server problems.

SimpleCoin's servers are down.

BTC Guild's servers are having issues because of the large influx of miners coming from other pools with problems. Check their website.

BTCMine's luck has dropped 30% today, so not as wise to mine there.

What options do I have?
