I think the point you're missing is called inflation. Combine that with the fact that avalon is the only company actually shipping units, then combine that with the fact that round 2 should ship out soon, and i'd hope you'd understand why 53 btc just doesn't cut it. It's not like you're buying BFL preorders, and people can afford the negative speculation that they might never ship, and will want to recoup some of their investment. You're offering to buy avalon machines, which are getting ready to ship soon, at less than the value of when people preordered them. Makes 0 sense, if you honestly take the time to think about it.

What bothers me about BFL they seem to casually go to work 9am and leave their office at 5pm like there's nothing going on here. LOL, no doubt! At this point though I think its a safer bet that the second generation ASIC's will be out and mining before BFL gets their shit together and ships their first pre orders. Right now I dont think BFL is trying to pull a scam or anything, I just think that they have no execution skills for a monumental undertaking like designing an ASIC chip and bringing it to market.
