Will it be slower or i just doesn't work?  I want to know before I bother downloading the miner, setting a worker and so on.

Depends on the card... it definitely won't work with a 290 or 290X for sure

im talking about memory ram. They meant GPU ram? or what. I have a R7850

They're talking about system ram as well. I havent tried 7850 or 280x with a 2GB stick. But scrypt-n definitely needs more system RAM than plain scrypt. Anyway 2GB is too low even then... it willbe mostly used by the OS. You will need Windows 7 minimum for the drivers to detect newer R9 cards, and I the 280x is a renamed 7850 if im not mistaken.

I'd be interested in hearing your results. At one point I was mining script n with 3gb of system RAM (using a single GPU with 2gb of video RAM) with no major decrease in performance (1-2 kh/s lower).

But ive head it doesnt even work (as it doesnt even open) with 2GB. Im too lazy to set the whole thing. Can anyone tell me?

It will work.. but it'll be like 1/2 speed as with 4GB.
