Q- What sort of social and cultural capital do you possess as a Pakistani ?
                                                                                                  As a Pakistani we possess a wide range of social, cultural and other unique attributes that are we famous for. These social and cultural values are practiced oftenly and have great importance in daily life of a Pakistani. Some of those are discussed below.
                      Pakistani society is the Religion based society. Islam is practiced by majority of Pakistanis and governs their personal and economic lives. Friday and Ramadan are Holy Day and Holy Month respectively. People observe fast in the holy month.
    Family is the basis of the social structure and individual identity. Though some nuclear families exist here but majority of people have Joint and extended family system.
                  Pakistani society is a hierarchical society. Elders are given most respect and their suggestion is must taken and employed in sensitive cases. They are expected to make decisions that are in the best of family. People are called by their Sir name. Females are protected and given respect in every matter.
                                 Language have a key role in Pakistani culture. More than 40 languages are spoken in the different parts of the country but Urdu is understood spoken in the entire country. Like language, different parts posses different dressing styles. Most famous are kurta, pagri etc. These are also have different styles in different areas.
         A good attribute of the society is Gift Giving Etiquette. Whenever one visit to other after a long time or on a special occasion he/she must take gifts with them. It’s a sign of love and respect for other. Yes, they spend a little more time in meeting and greeting. Even serious subjects are debate after prolonged inquiries about health and family. Hospitality is the feature that Pakistanis are famous for. Even strangers come to your help without any cost if you are in trouble in some strange area. Tea or cold drink is served to guests as a sign of Hospitality.
Spices are an essential part of any Pakistani recipe. Food play a role in many occasions such as EID-UL-AZHA in last Islamic month. Food is also distributed among poor on occasions such as death or anniversary.
               Pakistanis are famous for their commercial activities such as sale of Handicrafts such as carpets, sports items and have a huge industry of textile and surgical instruments. In short, Pakistan have rich Social and Cultural Values and their people are proud of those values they posses.
