when we were at childhood, really me and my friends did not any type of thing that do i adult age(like sex and lust things etc).Because we all time palyed at field, ground and outdoor game. But now a day child do not go outside for play, they just use mobile phone and watch tv. So can we blame on tv or social media???

the bible talks about girls at 13 getting pregnant and then marrying
so underage sex is not new
what is actual history is that in the victorian times they tried to be civilised by only saying sex after marriage.
then they raised the age of marriage to 16
but.. bar wenches and street ladies have been a common career for millenia.

in the 1920's once 'media' became a thing commoners also read/seen then yea that 'civilised' message was blasted everywhere and commoners wanted to act like nobles too. thinking virginity was secred and something that only a upper class elite guy should take from a teenage girl
in the 1950's with TV this was pushed further. pushing the loyal housewife propaganda with things like 'bewitched' yep TV regulation did not allow sexualised content
coming of age girl tv shows were about obedience and finding a man to marry
coming of age guy tv shows/movies were about rebelling and talking about girls and adventures

what im basically saying is media actually made the last 3 generations pre y2k(1925+)sexually repressed. and now media/tv is relaxing to respond to how the real world works not the christian cancel culture regulalators want.
but its a fight

You can't blame those as they are part of technology.

And with technology, it is impossible for us to stop innovation. If I am to choose, I like to be on both sides, having little technology and more of living the usual life.

I wouldn't get that much stress if there's not that much technology yet I can still enjoy living life to the fullest. But this is our lives, innovation is imminent and inevitable.

It is the parent's duty to limit their kids using those gadgets.

First of all, children lack imagination. When we (people who are ar least 30 years old) were kids, we read books and comic books, listened to stories told by our parents and grandparents. Movies were a feast. You had to borrow them or go to the theater, so they were celebrated and remembered.
Now kids spend all days watching movies and playing games and usually can't even tell what they were about. They can't focus on a single thing and jump from one train of thought to another. They're nervous, often develop anxieties. Can't really hang out with friends without something that would keep them busy like a phone or a console. IMO the next generation is becoming anti-social.

I will disagree with you. Immorality has been there since time immemorial. Yes, I personally don't like the current trend where children seem to be much more exposed to adult content but the past wasn't any good. If you go back in time, I believe things were far much worse and brutal, only that there was not enough media coverage to report such incidents.

For example during the times of World Wars and revolution. Children were forced to become Adults before time by getting recruited as Child soldiers. Abduction, Raping and defilement of young girls was the order of the day. This kind of things can't happen in the current situation without causing a stir.

We can't really blame it all with the technology, and yup I agree that immorality is already present before even without the technology. It just provides a different source. Adult content back then where provided in magazines and children sometimes save their money for the adult content, or an adult dvd. It will all comes to how the child is supervised by someone. Even today with the technologies surrounding us, there are still children who are growing fine. TV has regulation board too, they are picking what to show and not. I am not disagreeing with the fact that tv and phones make other children stay inside their houses, but it's not the sole reason why adult content and etc. is in existence.

And I see children playing outside too, even in this pandemic actually, maybe because some can't afford to have their own phone, and they still prefer playing outside.

I think it's hard to blame TV for all the bad things today, because everyone is watching TV. How can we be mad at the kids wanting to do the same as their parents? In my opinion it's on all of us to be better examples. If a family spends it's evening in front of a TV it's just natural that the kids will do the same when they grow up.

There are also good things from the kids today. They can handle technology much better. When I compare my parents or grand parents to the kids today using Iphones or Ipads it's insane the difference.

Well, children should probably not have unrestricted internet access. If necessary, the parents should establish a while list and only add sites needed for things like homework, education or supervised entertainment.

Internet is not a safe place, its like taking a country boy/girl to a large city and leaving him/her there abandoned.

The problem with that is that kids learn to break those restrictions. Many of them start to watch porn before they are teens.

Even girls watch porn at a young age. When porn was only accessible when you had to go personally to a store to buy a magazine or a DVD, very few women watched porn. And the few that did were adults and they used to do it as a couple.

Today girls have access to porn in two clicks but I don't think that is making them adults before time, it's just that things are different.

I think that if they tried to learn on how to break those restrictions, then the parents is kinda late when they start to put restrictions on net surfing. They should make it start at earliest as possible. Children's curiosity will be always at the peak at their young age. The more you restrict, the more they rebel. Ergo, proper explanation about the reasons, and understanding on the concept on how they think will be the key.

Apart from that, parents should also give the effort to try to learn how to put extra securities, blocking and supervision in the home wifi, It is not that hard to learn ways on how to restrict them strictly without breaching their privacy.

in your example, the difference between that is outdoor activities will be a physical activities, while using mobile phones and watching tv is just an activity. there's not much difference between those two, both can communicate with their friends, play games, and learn new things while you're at it. The thing that we must perceive is that, we must supervise, like the old days. They must have restrictions about the time they are able to play, conditions to get a hold of the gadgets, and strict guidelines on the things they are allowed to do.

It's the reality of nowadays mixed with the laziness of the parents. Really, it's easier to give a child a smartphone and do your things than entertain the child yourself.
