Once we discovered that a certain environment is no more for in for our safety, then we have to make haste in relocating from there to another place, we have to consider ourselves and the children we have with the environmental impact on them, there are things in which the parents never taught their children except by the influence of the kind of environment they were, we have the choice of leaving a society we see that does not contribute positively to the lives of our children.

In my opinion, when individuals live in fear, it makes it difficult for them to live happy lives and realize their full potential, therefore providing access to the care and recovery for persons battling with addiction would help them feel more relaxed and encouraged. By offering these programs, we can help folks get back on their feet and live healthy, productive lives. Furthermore, boosting access to education and career possibilities can assist people avoid turning to violence or addiction. Finally, law enforcement should strive to combat crime in a fair and reasonable manner that does not further exclude disadvantaged communities while still providing employment opportunities.

Drug addiction, women addiction, prostitution, corruption, fights destroy a country and a society from the very roots.  Drug addiction has become a great threat to the present generation.  It is killing the youth.  Most of the youth of the country are addicted to drugs and most of the youth are drug addicts.  It is destroying entire nation of a country from Shekhar.  Governments and parents of every country should keep a close watch on their children and see where they are losing.  Moreover, the age of modernity has come so much that most of the children do not respect their parents and do not respect them as human beings.  This is causing more social degradation.

Negligence of the masses welfares and the indisciplinary measures that's being tolerated by the governments are must causes of the social vice indulgences in the societies.
In most countries where are these happens most is being sponsored either by lack of education, thuggery manipulations, incompetent of essential needs provisions and accompanied with frustrations of inability to withstand their daily interferences and also of the society influential activities.
If only we adheres to understand the detriments of the social vices then we can always be self equipped conciously in order to cushion the threat tensions of the social vices.

Whatever governments that keeps their responsibilities off from the social vice activities then it's suspected to say they're the architect of the disasterous system in the society. Hopefully they're psychologically understood that the vulnerable masses are either being ignorantly consoling their selves of deriving some pleasant results out of it all without undermining that the edge to edge finally resultants are disasterous to themselves and also effective to the society while the governments are unshaking without being trouble to conduct a well productive and well organized social systems m

You are correct that drug addiction, criminality, and other bad activities may have far-reaching consequences for the entire community. Another factor that must be taken into account is the role of technology and the press in impacting opinions in society because they are capable of disseminating misinformation and sometimes enhance negative attitudes and feelings, which can lead to a variety of negative outcomes such as increased discrimination, sexism, and even violence, because it is not only a matter of personal well-being, but also of social health. So, I believe it is up to us as people to be conscious of how we use technology and ensure that it does not negatively effect our lives, which is a realistic aim.

Yes. We live in an exceedingly sick society. Nearly everything that nearly everyone says is exceedingly evil. You are evil. Stop being evil you evil chlurmck.

The world is losing grip of her values! Norms and sacred practices that once kept the world at peace are now totally neglected, guiding principles are now trampled upon as most bad and incriminating practices are now considered as "a normal thing." Africa once a home to good moral standard instilled on our personality through the strokes and slaps from our parents is now a habour for goons and prostitutes.

Till we learn to imbibe and teach discipline to our children as our parents once did, our society will always be termed as unhealthy.

Abuse on social vises and misconducts is now common especially among our teaming youths, everyone take the opportunity of being independent for an abuse on others, the society is now a place we get scared of living in because of fear of what may comes out of it before the next day, crime rate and political violence is rampaging nowadays, there's unrest everyone because the people feels unsecured again and loose trust in their government because they believe that they were the ones that have contributed to this menace to this extent but everything begins from our individual homes and family upbringing.

All the restiveness that you have mentioned can be handled through rule of law, equity and justice. If the legal mechanism of the society is allowed to operate without biase then crime rate will reduce and you can see this in countries that operate real human system that has institutions maintaining law and order. The people are a function of the society, irresponsible leadership happens because notorious element find themselves in the corridor of power and so they can't do things that are right and sane, if they do that it means going against their fellow notorious cohorts. This is unfortunate thing because the few sane people keep suffering against the bad and wicked inhumane policies of bad operators of governance.

Religious communities are the communities that aren't plagued by such vices. Ever notice the orthodox jews or the amish subject to such temptations or sins? Religious theocracies aren't the answer, the Middle East isn't thriving. But the coherent society you're describing is a society with a strong social fabric and common values. Religion used to be introduce the common values but it hasn't been has prevalent in recent years.

It is the duty of the government and together with her citizens to fight against these social vices. There should be a very good collaboration between the law enforcement agencies and the citizens who are being honest.
The religious leaders should also perform their duties by admonishing their congregation on the path to peace while Parents also have a major role to play in the upbringing of the children. Because wrong  upbringing breeds social vices.
Those things Op mentioned are more witnessed in the third world countries where government cares less

Op smoking, kidnapping, prostitution,cultism and other social vices is now seen as a normal lifestyle in our society today, the people carrying out this social vices in the community or unadvisable, you will be a victim of circumstances if you try to advice or stop them for doing what pleases them, they will tell you their lives is their choice and they will do what ever they wish with their lives, if you insist advising them they will chase you away from their presence or even beat you up if you don't run for your safety..

You can never experience or perform where everyone feels they are in charge of their lives and take advices from no one...

Strict sanctions cannot stop crimes that are triggered by poverty and unemployment. The only way to curb these crimes is through economic prosperity and the provision of employment opportunities. Like in my country crime increased as our economy nosedived. Before in my country, you can leave your doors open and sleep at night. Currently, because of the high rate of unemployment, you need to fence your house and put iron bars on the windows and doors for protection against criminals.

The crimes that we see in the developed world such as mass shootings, suicide, and drug addiction are the result of lack of gun control, violent social media, and the collapse of social systems such as the family coupled with societal and peer influence. These crimes can be curtailed by government policies, positive value orientation, and education.

Social vices have been in our DNA since our very existence,gambling relates to over 4000 thousand years before Christ as first dated and for prostitution they say it is the oldest profession in the world.Then soon after came alcohol and other vices and these are very well present in our time even in our Western developed societies which we cannot do anything to stop people from drinking alcohol,gambling or paying a hooker for sexual pleasures.

For what you are asking though maybe that is in remote areas but in developed countries there are strong constitutions that have produced strong laws,some even in death punishment in certain places like in Texas USA for example which keeps people at bay and obeying the rules.

But if you have no option where you're living then you have to decide to leave and go somewhere else that you think is the right place for you to keep on living.
These social vices are contagious. If you're in the wrong hood or being with the wrong people then you're likely to be one of them as soon as possible. That's why you need to take action for yourself and that doesn't mean that they will do that forever but it's more likely that it will make your life have more problems if you're with those people because those vices will also be transferred to you.

The worst thing that could happen to anybody is to live in a society where he/she has no peace of mind, as in such place I bet you, you could never find any development simply because investors will be scared of not having their business destroyed and get kill in the process by armed robbers. Because in a place where the majority are chronic drug addict, high way robbers, prostitutes, kidnappers, cultist, and bad leaders, I bet you anyone who finds himself in such area should better run for his dear life as such area is not a place to stay.

Social vices are common in every society, and all these are so harmful to the society because it plays a negative role on every individual that is involved in it. Just like drugs taking and other Alcoholic drinks makes the youths in various bad and unpleasant attitude, many youths die Young and some are useless to themselves, family and society. Due to the hard intake of drugs which affected them mentally and psychologically.

We live in communities with lots & lots of other people. We can not control the actions of others, all we can do is live a clean, healthy life ourselves. There are many temptations around, vices etc. It can be hard to ignore them all & follow the right path. Added motivations can help you to do the right thing though, if you have a family you should think of them if you are tempted to misbehave.

Social evil always exists in every society. And that crime is indeed difficult to erase because it cannot be erased. Many factors cause crime, for example poverty, unemployment, juvenile delinquency, self-defense, cults, conflict and competition. But it could be that this can be overcome by enforcing strict legal sanctions, maintaining the preservation and continuity of values ​​and norms in society.

You can't just group random things you don't personally and say they are all affecting negatively to society. And that's such a weird set of "vices" when there are actual crimes listed. And still that somehow doesn't include worst of human kind. And we have already laws against robbing and kidnapping. So what exactly do you want to do? More surveillance? In what country?

There's nothing wrong with a little cultism, witchcrafting if there's nothing wrong with religions. They are all cults to me. And a sex worker as a profession is a human right in my books too. Personally i don't smoke or drink but i see those as important civil rights as well.

Yes, that's right. Reforming any society starts with the individual reforming himself. When you reform yourself and get rid of bad habits, your children will inevitably be affected by you and they will be clean and good people in society in the future.

But when you do bad things, you will certainly affect your children first and society second.

I agree with you on the fact that not only drug intake is responsible for the high rate of social visits in our today's society and the reason for high rare crime and the rest of the other negative events happening all over the world, and I am happy you expanded the sphere of your many other factors responsible for crimes and crisis in the society to cover more holistic causes such as religion and tribes take racism, for example, it has not drug as it major instigator but another organic characteristic that fuel that ugly happening in some part of the world. The society we leave in today has become vulnerable to all these things and only holistic ideological healing can take life back to its previous peaceful and civil manner of doing things one other thing we must expect to play an important role in all this is the Government since their the custodians of the law and orderliness in the society, the society is inflicted with a high rate of corruption and the government officials have played a major role in all of this.

But just as you said in the last paragraph, we have to take personal precautional measures to ensure our safety because we are our first security, and at that, we must concur to present security situation and try as much as possible to stay safe and protect our family from every form of possible threat and security problem, by leaving a modest life and also watch out for what can lead to security problems around our environment.

It is also important to keep in mind that the western democracies take much emphasis on the freedom of their citizens, specially in the United States.
So where you would draw the line to fix the difference between personal right and social vice.

In conservative Islamic and Christian societies alcohol would be viewed as a vice, so would be prostitution, smoking or even asking for interest on loans. It depends whom you ask.

That is where the struggle between faction of society come from, because what some could consider to be a vice or a sin, to other it is just freedom and a personal choice.

It is a pity that these social vices are destroying the society bit by bit and nothing can be done about it. Government contribute more to ignite these social vices due to their greed and desperate for power. The young ones are watching what is happening and they think it is the right thing to do and might definitely be influenced by their environments. The leaders in my country are doing more harm to the citizens than good,especially the youths. There is high rate of unemployment in the country, which has made the lazy youths see prostitution,robbery and kidnapping as the only option to carter for themselves. It takes the grace of God for one to grow up in a society with all these vices without involving in them. A good moral and God fearing life is the best way to overcome these vices. Loving one another regardless of the skin color, tribe and religion is the only way out to a peaceful society.

I want to add that one of the reason for this high rate of crime is religion and racism. The open killing of Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf Ahmed by suspected Hindu nationalists because of the hatred they have for Muslims is a sign that nobody is safe. The most terrible part of the story is that they were heavily protected by the police before this ugly incident. And his son was recently murdered by the police. There are reports that these killing were orchestrated by the Hindus because they have the full support of the government.  

The killing of some youths that were in a birthday party in the US is an indication that the world is becoming unsafe everyday. For me, I ensure that my family take every security measure to limit attack of these criminals. We don't keep late night, we live a modest life, keep a dog that serves as an alarm if there is any stranger in our compound, avoid areas with high crime rate, avoid large gathering etc.          

Drugs are part of the problems in our society but it is not the major cause of these abnormalities. Tribalism, religious fanaticism, racism, greed, materialism and uncontrollable quest for political power plays key roles in the high crime rate we are experiencing in our society. Let us treat our fellow countrymen the way we want them to treat us and we will all live a peaceful and prosperous society.

Human must socialize and in the quest for that socialization you need to interact with other civilly,  our morals and values, this are what makes humans different from animals even though we have some humans with animalistic behaviours, I am sure most of us are familiar with insecurity, terrorism,  and other social negative actions in the society.

If you leave and grow up in an environment that is highly influenced negatively, you must demise means to survive in with a positive mindset but those that are mostly affected are kids and young adults who have failed to be responsible.

Security is zero and citizens are left in defended by the government, this isn't the situation in my country and most other Afric countries we are faced with the constant fear of attacks from various vices and government due to poor administrative management and a high rate of corruption have not taken any action towards solving the internal security issues in Nigeria.

Social vices, has been part of the society for a long time. Researcher has done their best to find everlasting solutions to end it. But it's very hard for them. Reasons being that most of our leaders are involved in some of the social vices.this alone has worsened the solution to eliminate it.
Social vices drag the society 10 steps backwards. Regardless of the useless excuses why Young people Involve in it. Social vices should be discouraged and campaign against in the society.

Societies that occupied chronic drugs addicts, chain smokers, high way robbers, prostitutions, kidnappers, cultism, bloody leaders, and witchcrafts practices is vulnerable to threats and unhealthy society. Some communities has no peace around their environment because they're people who have decided to create tends atmosphere. You can not move freely because you're sore afraid of another persons posting as threats to their lives. 

Any society that do not practice harmony and coherent society tends to destroy lives of its members and when lives is negatively affected it becomes a threats to the society. We should leader to maintain healthy society by been clean to yourself and your community. Let's avoid bad habits and drugs to build possible society for the future.
