Where in the US are you located? I may buy a U1 for .03 BTC. I can't afford .035 though.

these can be used on a windows machine?  Where can I find info about them?  Do I need the powered usb hub or are my desktop usb ports good enough.

Windows works fine.  bfgminer 3.10 and info for the U1 is all over the net.  Google the term "U1 pdf".

Powered hub works great.  I have a dynex 7 port hub that works great.  It's been running 5 miners for months now with no problem.

Thats not really a good deal considering you can get new U2s for about that price.... Tell You what I will offer .08  for all of them...

The only difference between the U1 and U2 is the heatsink.  I think they also installed the resistors as well.  I've got the resistors, but I haven't soldered them on yet.  Definitely need to do better than .08 BTC... I'd rather trade them for some scrypt asics...

Thats taking into account I can get a used 10 GH/s blade for less...but I do like the antminers for their overall error rate...

I should have thought deeper about that.  .035 each.  I changed the title.  Or give me decent offer and I'll hook you up.

Shipping to the UK?

I guess I should have been more specific.  Free shipping to anywhere in the USA... Shipping international can cost a ton...but I'll see what I can do.

I use bfgminer 3.10.0.  I'm sure you'll be using Linux.  I am using rasbian.  I just cloned the git, and built it straight up, no mods.  there are a few helpful topics on the subject too.  I'll post those links in here shortly, but you can always look for luke-Jr for the bfgminer thread and "antminer u1 tips and tricks" as well.  just make sure you have a halfway decent powered hub.

How did you get them to work with your Raspberry Pi? I might be interested in buying 1 or 2 for mine.

I've got 5 antminer U1s.  They run with no hardware errors OCed to 2GH/s with a fan on them.  I have original packaging and will ship them anywhere in the US for free.  I want to purchase some scrypt mining hardware.  I also have 10 of each of the different resistors that can be soldered in, but I don't have the proper equipment to do so.  I'll toss those in as well in case you want to experiment.
