Hi,

Is there any software or platform to trade coins in chains. For example buying bitcoin when it is low, and it then automatically waits for another coin to get low (ripple for example) and then buy thousands of these. Waiting a bit more to get ripple high and then cash out again? I think it is a lot of trickery so that is why i am curious if it would really work out, and how?

also interested if someone knows something about it.

You mean a way to obtain such a script? For which exchange do you need that done? Most of them offer API integration so you could make a script yourself that does what you ask for or simply look up the internet for someone who has done so already (if you have little knowledge about programming). If you provide more info I could help you.

Btw check my previous answer on this same thread before putting your money at risk! Tongue

Yes, program like these are simple to use and not very difficult to find. However they don't usually offer a decent profit margin since the price of a currency (expecially a cryptocurrency) changes very much based on a high number of factors.

Those programs usually take the initial price (say P = 1000$) and wait for it to drop by a certain percentage (say 2%) so when P < 980$ they buy your coins. After that they wait for it to raise again by an higher percentage (say 4%) so whenever P > 1019.2$ they try to sell your coins. They would work if the price were to rise and fall continuously and by small amounts. In practice, they rarely offer a real profit because usually the price of said altcoins (also bitcoin) varies a lot, as we have seen in the past weeks.

For example if someone sold @ 1 BTC = 10k$ now they would need to wait for the price to go down to 9800$ to buy again, which isn't probably happening anytime soon.
