I currently have the same issue... Im using a PHATOM Wallet and i try to transfer SOL from this wallet to my file system wallet.
It is quite bad that someone is having this same issue even till now. From what I can see, the op created this thread since February and till now someone is having the same issue. And I can also remember that there was a time that SOL had some kind of problem (I think that was last month or two) that prevented people being able to send out their SOL, it was on the news and a lot of people were really annoyed about this issue and said they might even quit at this point. For the fact that everyone is complaining about the customer support makes it really bad. I am hoping that they get to fix their platform.

Hello everyone. I'm in trouble. After migrating the KIN token to the SOLANA blockchain, I can't send my tokens. And I can't send Sol coins. In any wallet, the error is the same. Solana's console wallet also issues an error when trying to send SOL coins error:

>solana pay
EGx1EGcbdXzQrAjEi8....... 0.1
Error: RPC response error -32002: Transaction simulation failed: This account may not be used to pay transaction fees.

I wrote to support no response. I wrote to solana's telegram, the admin sends me to solana's discord chat. In Discord Chat, the rights to send messages are closed !!!    It turns out just ignore it! And if people start to block large amounts of money?  Is Solana management not interested in solving this big bug? How can this be? I have a private key. I put the coins in, but I can't send them!  Please help me with some advice.
Current solana wallet has a lot of error issues , recently i transferred some KIN tokens like yours also got the same error and i tried to transfer sol to file system wallet but nothing makes sense , now system the solana network is prone to failure and this causes many of my transactions to become confusing and slow, unable to process transactions immediately and quickly. I hope that in the near future this bug will be reviewed and fixed by Solana as soon as possible.

Thanks to one good person (not the developer of solana), I figured it out. The developers didn't even try to help! An error occurred during the migration, and a non-standard solana wallet with limited rights was created. With the help of Solana's console wallet, importing the private key , and some actions, we managed to solve the problem. I had to import the private key manually, because the wallet supports importing only by one keyword. If someone has a similar problem, write, I will definitely help.
