For the whole of 2023, SOL price hovered around $16 to $26.  Everything changed when a couple of projects within its ecosystem announced airdrop and after that, there were a few meme coins that took off which caused the hype. This is not the first time they got such hype it happened before 2021 due to which in 2021 it got a new ATH. I am not against SOL but I think it is now an overhyped project and since the hype is due to the projects that are using its ecosystem that is why the price went up. Just a reminder the SOL token is the fuel that is required to use its blockchain.

Solana is one of the top coins and this coin has performed well this year. Many have invested in the Solana project. Bitcoin is about to halve so the correction is starting to take place as well as the top altcoins are following Bitcoin. Solana price today is $134, although it was above $200 a few days ago. Solana coin is difficult to predict but the price is low now, so now is a good time to invest. Maybe a future Solana will be much stronger and even make a new ATH in terms of value.

I agree that SOL has a long way to go, and I am not entirely sure if it will though. It looks like it may do well enough, but at the same time I believe that we are talking about something that may not be all that easy to handle neither. So, we should consider what kind of situation we would be in, and I feel like it is going to be something that will take a bit of a time as well.

Hopefully, we will see the situation change as much as we can, and it is not going to be all that simple to fix. What I can see right now is the fact that we are not really making big strides at SOL but the tokens in SOL chain are making big changes, so I believe that eventually it will help SOL to grow further if this type of hype continues more.

It's not too late if you want to chase ATH prices but will the prices go there? I don't know.

The Solana network has been downtime a few times this has caused a lot of congestion transactions somehow in times like this there are still many people buying to invest, there are also those where they buy because of a need for the Dapps ecosystem.

If my prediction is maybe the Solana price can strengthen again but I myself have never invested in this coin except a few times for transaction needs.

You have to DYOR, people who are hodling Solana would prolly tell you to buy the coin, so you should not depend on information you get from others, but that which you got through your own research. I don't own any Solana, but i usually see their users complaining of bugs and "transaction failures" in the network, i don't know for sure how bad it is, but if they are constantly faced with problems like this, then their network might not be sustainable for the long term.

Currently Solana network got congested almost longer time more than several days ago, I doubt its can give positive impact in the future for Solana coins try break out above $200.
Just giving little suggestion for every one interested want to invest or buy Solana coins because I got problem by sending some coins with Solana network after get congested and more patience needed if want sent or deposit to exchange wallet.
Actually, Solana coins get very good development after crashing last several years ago and success recovery almost raise up above $200 but the maintance of their network currently is serious problem for investor how get their trusted if Solana can't running well with their network.
Invest with Solana coins keep worth it right now just anticipation if trouble with network can't solve as soon possible scare with potential of Solana price will drop.

If you are farming solana ecosystem airdrop then you can hold solana.  you will get its ecosystem airdrop and on top of that you will get upto 5x return of your investment. Solana already pumped from 10$ to 200$. That means some investors are in a high profit margin and if it made another 20X from here that will be too much volatile.

I still believe Solana's growth in the market has a long way to go. The use of the Solana ecosystem is currently getting bigger. and that will be good for their market in the future.
you just need to plan your investment in Solana. it's never too late to invest. The most important thing is that you have self-control and the right understanding regarding investment. so you won't be too quick to conclude that you made the wrong decision when you just entered.

Before these airdrops and meme coins came in Solana, the coin is already popular because it has a good background. They are like a bonus only for those who believe on the coin's potential, especially during their darkest times. Not all loves airdrops because they are not lucky to get rewarded and even if they do, they are not satisfied with it.

Also, airdops are from tokens under Solana and not the coin itself, so it's not the one that they will be buying. Meme coins on the other hand, have no real direction, so it's kinda odd if we call them successful. Solana already proved its worth over the years, so it's definitely one of those cryptos which are a must-buy.

Considering how high the price of the first smart chain token Ethereum is, it's no doubt Solana could have a similar feat and reach at least $1000 in a couple of years. Provided there are no large setbacks to the network like huge hacks, lookholes and network shutdowns. If Solana kept on working as intended I don't see why they would not reach 1K. The fees are cheaper and the transactions fast. The market is ever growing and they might be the network of choice for most developers in a few years.

The ironic reality is that the more you doubt, the more it will increase in price. It's better for OP to have a specific plan first. Arrogance is how much you buy at the current price and how high you expect it to go, and also how much you are prepared for a drop in price. I was also on the sidelines with SOL, but was happy to see it still very vibrant with many things revolving around the ecosystem.

One thing I find really funny is that as the bull cycle gets easier, the tech stories are fading away, now in most of the ecosystem I just see memecoins taking over. Perhaps this is their strategy. But going back to SOL, I also appreciate it because it still maintains its position in the market, but I personally do not choose it in my investment portfolio and perhaps it is just a personal opinion.

All those hype about Solana is only due to the fact that there are multiple airdrops that are happening in its ecosystem. People love airdrop and that is why everyone wants to buy Solana. Another factor which is driving the hype are meme coins success in its ecosystem. Apart from these two factors nothing make Solana a blockchain to look forward to. I think you should do your own research on Solana and then decide whether you want to invest or not.

Right now it is one of the best because of the liquidity that it has got, there are some other networks that I think are also good.
But it's just that sol is getting more attention right now. With many airdrops and web3 projects building there, no doubt that it is a good investment nowadays.

But Solana Chain is the best currently for web3 adoption, have tried all other major blockchains but Sol is overall suitable to invest in other than bitcoin. So it's never too late to invest in Sol because for me Sol will increase again with the influence of the bitcoin halving. In my opinion, Sol is still worth buying and holding, because the fees are cheaper and the transactions are more numerous than other altcoins under Sol.

The price is still good to buy as many predicting this coin to jump higher as they have a better plan in the coming years. Very worth it. Solana has become one of the top coins with very high development potential. Even now, Solana is one that can compete with Ethereum and BNB very quickly. That's the current issue but we do not know yet what will happen after April 15 I checked the current price action on the chart it's currently forming a symmetrical triangle in 1 one-hour time frame it's not done yet to be formed but based on the size of the triangle it ends on April 15. Since the price came from declines and patterns(Symmetrical triangle) it turns out to be bearish this coming April 15. So you might be right.

Any top coin's for the next 2 years will increase that's for sure.
It will not be Solana only, but all top coins will increase in price.

We are entering the bull market soon a few months after the Bitcoin halving event and base on my experience, all of the top coins will at least double it's price or even more. The only thing that's not certain is that, some of the altcoins don't even surpass their previous ATH in 2021. I've seen some coins experiencing that, and there will be some this time as well especially those top coins that's considered "unpopular".

As for Solana, it's previous ATH was around $260 and I believe that it will be surpassed considering how it became popular for the last few months. I'm not holding the coin, but I'm bullish about it despite it experiencing some outages in the past.

Solana is one of those coins that the believers think will replace Bitcoin someday, while the skeptics say it is total centralized garbage that is nothing more than an excel spreadsheet.  I think the truth probably falls in the middle somewhere.  Big companies like Google have embraced Solana, which means it isn't going away anytime soon (although Google abandons projects faster than any company I've ever seen).  It also has some merit for NFTs and I could see a popular metaverse being built on it.  However, the price increase from $8 to $180 is sure to keep some people on the sidelines as that has been one of the more explosive crypto rebounds so far this cycle.

Solana's price still considered high currently, though it's down 30%-40% from it's ATH. You could always try DCAing, it might fall below $150 or it can go close to $120, who knows. Besides, Solana has not had any resolution on their network issues. Network outage is the most common issue for Solana and this could also be the reason to a possible down fall. So, I advise to be patient with your investments and don't put it in just alt, you may want to diversify it as altcoins is a lot riskier than bitcoin.

This is the crypto space and news affects there prices, so you don't expect any crypto coin to have a smooth sail and keeps increasing indefinitely, they're volatile by nature and that's why pump and dump occurs. When it's a reputable altcoin like Solana, we don't need to worry whether it has the potential to surpass it's ATH in this bull run, I believe that when it's dev. team rectifies it's network issues, it'll price will increase. So the OP will have to make that decision whether to still jump on the bandwagon or give it a break.

the thing that I will let you know is that many people ventured into investment to when they see that there's acceleration of bitcoin increment in the market so solana coin has been into existence for long time and it is started gaining positivities in the market due to the recent increase in Bitcoin and it may likely to fall based on if bitcoin lack increment, for my own observation I will like you to to make a proper research of a solana if the coin will continue to have a good value after bitcoin has dropped in the market so if it is something that will not continue to have value when bitcoin drops, I will advise you to spread your investment.

that is what I've been emphasizing that they should do make a research concerning this solana that everybody want to invest on because it has been long solana come into existence and for it to have this positive increase it is because of the recent increase in Bitcoin that's Skyrocket the market price of solana.. so for the people who invest in solana coin and also want to invest more currently should the follow this your advice, because I know quite well that this coin may have issue in future so which I'm not aware of their issue except this your theory or research you made.

anything that has to do with the cryptocurrency investment you cannot be late for the investment because two things are involved into cryptocurrency investment neither you lose or you gain for the investment, that is why we have a tax to do whenever we want to invest in any cryptocurrency investment we have to make an adequate research to know if the coin we are going to invest is going to be positive for us before we ventured into the investment, in summary no cryptocurrency investment that you can invest today that how we said you are late for the investment because there is a every possibility that the coin may increase unexpectedly and there is every possibility that the coin mighty die of during the process of investing on it.

your point is exactly what I said, because the future of cryptocurrency is unpredictable and the anything can happen to it at any point in time, bitcoin investment is something I know quite well that you might invest on it today and it falls drastically, what I know concerning cryptocurrency, is that it has to do with unexpected time, you invest now and the price appreciate in the market and you may invest another day thinking that the price will continue moving up and the price drops.

You might regret for not acquiring this days if SOL price will pump. But I guess you don't have experience dealing with this coin so maybe its better for you to research first before trying to accumulate since maybe you commit a mistake if you don't have enough knowledge on what you are trying to acquire. Much better if you could able to see first the ups and downs of the SOL so that you could able to create a sort of strategy depends of what you want to happen on your accumulated SOL in future.

But I guess there's also no late for this since as we can see that SOL network has been much used by a lot of developers so we can assume that maybe we can see more better especially if more demands will come. Look at what other people say here they thought it was late which I also think that way, I sold my SOL before when the price is so cheap since I thought there's no chance for this coin to pump this year but look what happen the price pump up and those who believe are earning, but those who doubt regret their decision to sell their SOL.

For me, when it has reached $100, it was too late already. But then looked at how much it is right now. I am giving you the idea when we think that we're too late. It could be right or wrong and that's why no one can say if you're already late to jump on the bandwagon or it's still too early if the pump is going to continue. That's why if you're deciding to invest on it, you don't have to ask other people for it whether you should invest or not but as part of your research, it is one of your deciding factor whether you'd do or not.

The opposite may happen and some investors panic and sell their balances,  the network is so crowded that you cannot broadcast any transaction. Solving this problem is not something that will push the price higher, as they claim that it is the fastest and cheapest blockchain.

Solana may witness further increases by the end of the year, but I do not expect that in the short term, so the next decline may be an ideal buying opportunity.

Don't make the mistake of thinking it's too late to enter into Solana, I sold it between $60 to $80 and then when it touches i thoughts is too late but we have the results in front of us and moreover it's not the ATH of Solana and we can expect the price to surge even further when they fix the network congestion which has caused some dip recently.

Where are these people who do not want to buy Solana? This is not the ATH for Solana there is current bad news on Solana which is why it keeps declining but I believe it's not the last highest price for Solana.
It's currently having issues or bugs related to transactions and they are planning to fix the issue next week by April 15 it is not only Bitcoin having issues with the network congestion Solana also experienced this too once they fix the issue expect for the price surge.

The all too often network downtime is really not good, it’s something that could potentially ruin Solana’s chances of surviving & flourishing in an increasingly mainstream cryoto accepting world. I have seen people saying online that they haven’t been able to use the Solana network for 3 days, it is simply not sustainable if devs can’t finally stop downtimes. I actually like Solana a lot, it needs to be more reliable though.

lots of people do not want to buy solana anymore because they believe that its peak has passed and if you buy now where the price has increased, it’s never going to pay off

however i believe solana still has more to offer and i even believe it could surpass its ath of 260 usd someday so i would say that it’s quite worth it

of course the decision is yours and you should always decide for yourself as that is your own money but that was just my opinion
