Scientists also say that there's a possibility of even more dangerous events like gamma ray bursts or giant asteroids hitting Earth. Should we live in fear our whole lives, spend countless resources building bunkers and other infrastructure that has no other purpose than save us from these highly unlikely events?

One of the biggest factors that could affect internet stability is the natural disasters that might happen in the future. It will surely affect huge businesses and anything that needs internet and as for me, it's something that we should ready about. We should think of alternatives if an ever huge solar storm might happen.

It all depends, and whether an extreme or super solar storm will affect the internet network on earth and cause an internet apocalypse.
and in the event of an extreme solar storm, the most affected region is the northern hemisphere, including the United States and the United Kingdom, these regions are most vulnerable to extreme solar storms if it occurs, these countries will lose their internet connection first.

and so far I have not felt the harmful effects of solar storms or because extreme solar storms have so far not occurred, and maybe the internet apocalypse will have a negative impact on the earth, that's according to predictions or research by scientists if there is an extreme or super solar storm.

Its not just about the internet solar storms are known to damage electrical grids and cause blackouts (no electricity no internet),Although i dont think we need to panic yet since as numerous studies have shown solar storms are not that common and chances of a big destructive one is relatively small.

I can't imagine if there is a time when I can't watch YouTube anymore. I hope ISP prepare for that. Recently I prefer like to watch YouTube rather than TV because Television Companies in my country only care about rating and money, some of them ignore public wisdom. Those companies invite people who booming because of scandal and other negative things which not benefits for viewers, they keep do that as long as they get good rating. There are almost no good content that made by them. This internet problem that might be happen will influence my life, and I hope there is nothing bad happen to bitcoin because of this.
Your ISP will be ready for that because I am sure they will prevent that thing happen to their infrastructure. The ISP and other public services will consider how to avoid or reduce the risk if something worst happens. But if nature causes that case, the ISP and other public services can not hold on for a long time, especially if that is about the solar storm but hopefully, that does not have a big impact on us, not just on the internet.

We seems to think that Internet cannot be stopped but Researcher explains in the youtube video that very soon we can have a major internet outage.
If this is true then we can't imagine how will it effect the mankind who is 100% dependent on the internet.
Solar Storm May Cause ‘Internet Apocalypse’ l Researcher Explains Why Asia Is Less At Risk

For me the video was really interesting.
Few things one might consider:

1. The storm is around 12% likely to happen in the next decade
2. We don't have enough data about the previous one's.
They caused a massive outage all across Canada for around 9 hours, therefore even if it happens this time, there will be a chance of it being affecting things for no more than days.
3. We do have a whole decade to prepare therefore most probably the scientists would be able to tackle this issue, the issue would be with the wires passing through the oceans, so I do think what might solve this is :
**Creating more hubs like Singapore across the equator to make sure things are under control.**
4. It would not affect all the business for sure, the higher chances of it affecting the world trade and the satellites cannot be disregarded, but what matters is making the communication between the countries stronger perse and enhancing the local businesses as well.

-The whole thing would be a nice competition for the scientists to tackle and right now and research needs to be done on this topic more.

If it is true that a solar storm is coming, it can be said that it can end all businesses that use the internet, we will definitely return to the times of our ancestors, who did not use the internet, bank electricity, etc., we would live without internet, without cell phones, without electricity, we will also do farming, as our ancestors did, everything is natural, using natural fertilizers and we will return to a simple life..

Internet outage = MAJOR supply and logistics problems. It's not just Bitcoin that wouldn't work. The money currently sitting in your bank probably wouldn't either. Without internet or electricity, there would be unimaginable chaos.

Everyone is affected then. Everything today is dependent internet and maybe even the water flow on the earth will also stop too because of a solar storm. Famine to all will lead to chaos eventually.

What are the possibilities of this happening? Science and all again can keep us believing in anything like this will happen. Back in 2000, there was also an end of the world news. It's time to ignore this type of news as Solar Storm happens every now and then, there were lots of articles about this before this video.

There's measures in place in case that ever happens, I think there's been solar storms that has hit the Earth in the modern times and we're doing just fine right now, it's not going to fry the systems and even if it does, it will have an easy fix plus, the Internet cables are underwater and water can dissipate the energy produced by that solar storm.

To say that a solar storm would ONLY cause internet outage is a big mistake. I'd tell you that depending on the intensity of the winds that will hit the Earth, Solar storm could either disrupt electronics, and communications, or could even cost us our lives and food resources in the process. A truly terrifying event that further implies the universe hates technology, and has machinations within its confines that would destroy us in a single flash.
A possible solar storm would end the business life of nearly everybody. Because the internet is used in nearly all of the work fields. There is no way that these jobs can continue to be done in such condition. You say that only about people who are fully dependent on the internet. But actually, nearly everybody are depending on it.  Cheesy  But most probably, we won't see any solar storm in the near future. Sometimes, they make this kind of clickbait videos.
Except we may really get hit by a solar storm since we're starting solar cycle 25, as evident from the sunspots that scientists have been observing since the past few years. Still a solar storm doesn't automatically mean we will get hit directly but if we do get hit, let's just say we're properly fucked.

Solar storm may cause a lot more damage than just internet outage and as long as it doesn't destroy electronics it won't be a big problem at least for some countries that already have a solid infrastructure for their internal connectivity without internet access.

I also didn't get the point of creating a video if it is just a bunch of random pictures with text on them which you have to read yourself! Wouldn't an article be more suitable on a site like medium or was it just about youtube views/revenue for the author?
