120? I can make it cash or check if u like.
It makes little sense to offer less than 150, since an offer of 450 for 3 is already on the table. And 120 is unreasonable because they are worth AT LEAST 140 as has already been demonstrated in an earlier post.

I currently have 3 BFL Singles running at 855 MH/s (average) on on the 872 MH/s firmware with zero throttling.

Looking for 165 BTC shipped apiece.

120? I can make it cash or check if u like.
120 BTC?  No, sorry.

Lol I just paid 121 to BFL before the price increase. Now I'm playing the waiting game.

The highest I can do would be 450 BTC for all 3.

PM me if you need a quick sale, but I doubt there will be a lack of offers.
Well, so far, I've only had two offers, both very lowball.  And then yours, which is reasonable, but still lower than I really want to go.

Person (a) orders directly from BFL at a cost of $633 ($599 plus $34 shipping). That is 108 BTC ($5.85/BTC). The waiting time is 50 days.

Person (b) orders from a forum member at a cost of 166 BTC with no waiting time.

Let's take a closer look at this ...

Person (b) starts mining immediately. He has a 50-day head start over Person (a), who is waiting for his Single to ship from BFL. The mining income for a Single over 50 days is 25 BTC. So after 50 days of mining we have a 166 BTC initial cost minus 25 BTC profit, for a net cost of 141 BTC after 50 days of mining.

Person (a)'s net cost is 108 BTC. Once the Single arrives in 50 days, Person (a) is already ahead of Person (b) by 33 BTC (141-108), or $193, even though he had to wait 50 days before the thing shipped.

Maybe I'm not seeing it but, knowing this, why would someone elect to buy a Single for anything higher than 140 BTC? With a waiting time of 50 days, 140 BTC is what a 'Single that ships today' is worth. I realize that sellers try to get as high a price as possible; but as a buyer (I am not in the market for Singles, BTW) I would certainly expect to pay more than BFL's price but I'm not sure why I would pay more than 140-145 BTC.

Maybe he's trying to get rid of some overhead? Or...

Because Americans think that their crap is worth more when they have it and less when they don't. Like those guys on ebay who still think top of the line Pentium D 4 and 8800GTXs selling them for 200-300 dollars. Or that guy that sells his 2004 alien-ware laptop for 2,000 bucks cuz it was worth so much back in the day.

Well, BTC price is up too, so that helps with the cheapness.  Wink

But I don't know of any currently available for sale at a price less than mine.

I'm not sure either Epoch, but the fact of the matter is, people are still buying them for 160-165 BTC.  It is possible that they don't trust BFL's deliveries to happen in 50 days anymore.
True. Can't argue with that. A bird in hand is worth two in the bush, as they say. And, as you say, people are buying them up for 160+ or 180+. Yours are actually some of the cheaper ones I've run across.

I've been tempted to sell some of mine as well. Unfortunately, my bullish outlook on mining keeps getting in the way of that idea ... Wink

Good luck, Sgt!

That sounds about like what the market will bear. Good luck.
I hope so, or maybe I'm just unlucky.  This one sold for 166 BTC yesterday though:  https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/sold-bfl-single-rev3-87407
