very awesome watch

like some have said they just dont make stuff like they used to.

Unfortunately since the smart phone I havent wore a watch let alone
a pocket watch so this would collect dust but a great item and
if I find someone to gift it to I would buy it

Thanks....Still looking for an offer on it.

This would be a great gift for the old man. Are there any cracks or scratches on the face? It's tough to see in those photos.

Thanks!

What a great gift that would be for the right person and wouldn't it be great if you had a time machine and could watch the history of the watch (no pun intended) through its life time. Who used it, where its been etc. Great item. Not for me, just had to say and why not give your thread a bump Smiley

That is a very cool watch there, I love the quality they put into all of the old hand-made products back in the day. It's not for me, because I'm not really into watches or have the extra money to drop, but perhaps a watch guy will want to snag this. Perhaps the users 'BobSurplus' or 'GraysRolex' would be interested in purchasing it.

I will say though that the eBay listing you linked isn't really comparable with yours, as the eBay Hamilton watch was originally sold for almost 4 times the cost of yours ($160 vs. $46) and is made out of solid 14K white gold. Nevertheless, you still have a pretty sweet watch there man.
Hey Thanks!  Yeah mine seems to fall in the Mid grade level I've seen some of the Lower priced models sell for $100.-200. Range that's why i went midway the price. The quality of products back then was amazing...to get the same Quality nowadays you are talking Rolex or Similar High Ends.

Daily bump and adding additional information on this.

In the pictures those swirl marks seem horrible but it's the lighting and crappy camera I also wanted to post a reference to another watch similar to mine that sold on Ebay for best offer. This watch is a slightly better version but because it has the box with matching paperwork it commands a better price. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-23j-Hamilton-Pocket-Watch-14k-White-Gold-Case-c-920-in-original-box-1922-/221844561501?hash=item33a6f75e5d&nma=true&si=5%252B9FVIo1LC2YU%252Fm72f1L6zee344%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

I would be willing to take additional photos for any potential buyers and Price is negotiable.
