I have a couple Cas 5's and they are the least attractive Cas coin made period. Totally my opinion but sometimes I'm in disbelief that these little shitty coins hold so much money. Then I realize it's awesome, so if you don't have one, buy one.  Smiley

Man I couldn't disagree more. I LOVE the 5BTC BitNickels and believe they're one of the most under loved and under appreciated of all the coins. They look amazing to me. Maybe it's because I know they hold 5x the value of a nice 1btc coin but even after plenty of time of holding them next to each other and comparing them I absolutely still love them. This is why it's to each their own. By the way do you have any series 2 versions of the Cas 5BTCs? You mention you have a couple of them and I was just wondering if you had both series 1s or 1 of each or both series 2 or whatnot? Because I have 2 5BTC series 1 and I'd be open for a trade of one of mine for a series 2 if we can make something happen in the event you have a series 2. This is the thread I made about that here if you wish to read it and let me know if you wish to discuss further by pms etc....

I think most would disagree and counter with the 25, but I love them all personally.

Wow.  A ton of 5-BTC Cas peeled.   Really hoping someone didn't get robbed.  Don't understand why they wouldn't have sold them at approx 7 BTC each instead of selling.  I guess it's a hassle and the market isn't that liquid, but that is about $700,000 potentially left on the table.

While I do agree that person left plenty of money on the table no doubt about that, however I don't think these get 7btc although they should as I find them to be grossly underrated and super sexy! This is just my opinion of course. They were selling for ~6.2 and of course depending on the coin and grade maybe higher and maybe a bit lower. Either way 30 less of them surely improves the scarcity of them a bit more now! Was crazy to see 30 just redeemed bam outta the blue Shocked

FWIW, I bought these coins directly from Mike Caldwell (Casascius) in 2012 and kept them untouched in my safe until last month, when I got them graded by ICG.

See pictures of previous coins I've auctioned off: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/auction-casascius-1-btc-series-1-2-and-5-btc-s1-icg-ms67-graded-coins-5142846
I can send pics of actual coins if you send me your email in a PM. Thanks.
