I'll take whatever stock you have left of these.  I have a prefunded Dwolla account if you wouldn't mind accepting USD equivalent.  But if you must have BTC, I have some on reserve at BTC-E.  Let me know in a PM. (so i get an email)

Thanks.

What's the significance of the modifcation(s) you did?  (like, why did you do it, and does it change the way the riser works)

The 2 risers on the rigt were originally 1x-1x risers. By cutting off the edge, they are effectively 1x-16x risers.

I must be dense, so forgive my ignorance.

Are you saying that a 1x to 1x riser, can be modified to accept/fit onto a GPU's x16 "foot"?  How can it stay in place?

I can see that a 1x to 16x riser ribbon only has a "few" wires in it, whereas a 16x to 16x riser ribbon has a whole lot more wires in it.  For mining, we don't need but just the 1x portion of the signals, right?

Also, can a 1x to 1x riser "foot" fit into a 16x slot?  So can a 1 to 16 fit on a 16 slot and become a 16 to 16 (with only 1x wires)?

Anyhoo, I am in the market for some risers.  My motherboard will have 5 PCIe_x16 and 1 PCIe_x1.  I already have:

(2) x16 to x16 risers
(2) x1   to x16 risers (like the two in the middle in your photo) [will only need one of these]

I need 3 more risers, which of the those you have for sale, do you recommend me buying off of you?

The m/b has 5 x16 slots, so I need to be able to plug into them.

1x riser can be modified to accept a x16 foot by slitting the edge so the rest of the foot can pass through. There is a gap between the power and data lines which helps to hold the card in. 1x card might not always work in a 16x slot. It will fit, but working depends on if the MB 16x slots are 1x compatible.

The 4 risers on the left are 1x to 16x. 2 on the right are modified

pretty much this. Why spend double the money on a riser that is electrically identical to a 1x > 1x riser and is difficult to plug into a video card when you can spend significantly less on a 1x > 1x, use a little elbow grease, and get a much easier to plug in riser? Smiley
