You can use jalas to mine sha256 alt coins, it's never useless.
Bidding on an item and waiting for the highest bidder or best offer is in fact an auction format. There was no "bid" placed by me in PM because I wanted to know an outright price and if the OP has one in mind I'll consider it if not it is in fact an auction. I don't care to throw a blind price at them nor do I care to bid for the item when there are other people interested. Everyone has their own price for what they believe something is worth and that's fine it's not directed at you stating a price you believe it's worth, but rather the OP for not putting one when there is a sub forum for auctions(I know it's common in the marketplace, but it just prolongs sales and clutters up threads)!
