Do their ads actually work? I've tried them multiple times with no success.
Depends on the quality of your ad. CPC campaigns, which are only available to high-balance accounts, are extremely effective.This specific account comes with an ad account manager who offers cheap CPC campaigns, they are much more both cost and result effective than impression based ads.
Account managers are only for accounts over a certain balance as far as I am aware.
