Great find ! and awesome to see you got the extra proof with the coin.

Did you all see that the VOID text is up-side-down?  Grin

I would like to see it ANACS graded and then put to auction.

Yeah I noticed Grin.

Would that make it an error coin?  Shocked

As far as I know all the void coins have the void 'firstbits' upside down.

I'm glad you all like it! I think that the associated provenance is very unique, hard to let this special coin go!

PM's replied. I have just sent out a counter offer, this coin might be gone soon.

This is a great thread and well done you Eodguy149 for obtaining the provenance and putting together a good sales pitch. I cant remember seeing anything quite like this before Smiley.

If you have several interested parties I'd say go for an auction, unfortunately I cant afford to take part right now but sounds like a few hopefully will.

P.S. I like watching a good auction Tongue.

Currently there are quite a few interested parties. I am thinking about putting this up for auction and starting at the current high bid of 5.1BTC shipped anywhere in the US. Would there be any interest in this or would you all like to continue privately bidding? Just putting the question out there for transparencies sake. Thanks  Smiley

Congrats on finding one eod!

But please put that coin in an airtite  Embarrassed it looks sad in a plastic bag lol.

The first thing I did was put it in an airtight after taking a picture of it. This only adds to my theory that most of the Void owners are not collectors.

The condition is pretty good though. I would estimate MS64-65.

All PM's have been replied to!

I just received a Void Coin from Ben Bledsoe (https://twitter.com/benbledsoe) who helped produce The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin.

Ben received it directly from Mike himself and has included a sworn statement that he is the owner as well as that the coin was one of the Void Coins featured in the documentary. I also have his contact info and he would be willing to confirm his ownership of this coin with the buyer if the below documentation is not adequate.

All of the items in the photo below will be included. With all of the provenance included and the rarity of this coin I am asking: 5.5BTC Sold

This is your chance to own a very rare piece of Bitcoin history.

Feel free to post or PM any questions. Thanks  Smiley
