Mainly the danger of bridging different circuits
Which could be done with wire just as easily if you don't pay attention. A piece of wire is shielded with the exceptions of the spliced ends jammed into the connector. A paperclip is an unprotected live wire that is going to make for some exciting times if you touch/bump it off anything metallic that you care about.

I have 15 Dynex 400w Power Supplies to sell. These are new units that have been returned and written off. I have tested each supply for boot-up and a light load.
