Also, another thing that can be tried is using liquid pro w/ the air cooler, might get ya some more GH =)
Liquid Pro has been nothing short of amazing on my water cooler setups w/ these.
Between 10-15C drop... just because of liqiud pro!

damn.

check the Hab dev thread. posted some photos of setup with waaaay more powerful heat extractor... i mean fan

are these miners newbie friendly? like plug and play.

im on a mac..

They are meant to be weakers for top performance but the average joe, with an instruction guide, can get em running pretty easy. If you can get cgminer compiled for OS X you'll be set

Edit: it's a bare board so you would need a cooler(preferably liquid, but an high quality air cooler can get you performance almost on par with a baby jet( 300-400Gh/) liquid will get you up to the max your board can do

I purchased one habanero from nanook on Thursday, arrived Saturday at 10am. I unpacked her, cleaned the ASIC with alcohol, TIMmed it, put my choice of aircoolers( HYPER 212EVO) while I wait for an H80i, power, and magic: 300-330Gh/s @ ~225W. Temps in the high 70s C 0 HW errors yet

I would like to buy some of these, but the cooler costs are just ridiculous and everyone sells them without them..

They COULD use a regular heatsink, but they would need to be severely down clocked to like the 200Ghs range

Don't get me wrong, I'll be using an refurbished H80i water cooler I got off newegg.com today for $63 with a coupon today. It'll be here just in time for the Hab I also bought today.

I have had very good fortune buying refurb corsair parts. They come packed like an brand new item with all new accessories etc. and a 1 yr MFR warranty. And in this case with the coupon, I saved over 33% off list price

I stand corrected: did a little riggin and these can be more or less a baby jet if aircooled with like a CM hyper 212 EVO, which I have two of ^_^

Bump, price updated.
...
is it possible to keep them hashing aircooled?

...
You can air cool them, though performance will be lower.

I ran one with a Hyper 212 Evo at 340GH/s poolside, and only 241W (@110V) at the wall. Temps were 89C at that point, so there would be room even with that cooler to bump it up a little. I would guess with a bit of an upgraded fan on a Hyper 212 Evo you could probably hit the original Babyjet speed of 400GH/s at around 300-320W at the wall, but I haven't tested that.

My experience is any modern liquid cooler fitted with a high CFM server fans will work fine.  The fans the come with the kits are 50-70 CFM and I am including two 250 CFM fans with each board.

Newegg has an entry cooler http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181010

How many watts do these need?

My experience is just over 1W per 1 Gh.  I ran these off some 850W power supplies without any problem.

I have few Habanero miners to part with (need to make electrical room for new miners).  I need the power supplies and coolers for another project.

Asking price is $200 US in BTC for each board, shipped in the US, international extra.  These boards have been happily hashing at 640+ GH/s since June.
I also have some Delta 250 CFM server fans I'll throw in for free for each board purchased.

Escrow OK (at buyers expense).

Please PM with serious offers.

thanks
