the main point - you should to make a cpu-8pin(v2-line)-to-pci-e power adapter to prevent v3/v4/v5/v6 line overload.

Well when I ran GPU from it I split the loads by using some of the molex to make pci-e....worked like a champ.

This is so tempting, but then I read some of the reviews on amazon and it didn't leave me a warm and fuzzy, but still sounds like a great deal.
I'll agree with tarzan2 they are good psu's but unlike better manufacturers if you hook them up wrong or over exceed power requirements they can shut down.  I currently have one and was able to resurrect mine.  Again for $125 that's a steal for a solid 1600w psu.

Yeah $125 shipped priority is the best deal on the forums! Also this is my last LEPA left since I recently sold off my farm  Undecided

They are solid, but with 6 rails you need to pay attention to how it is hooked up. I bought 20 of these for GPU mining after doing a lot of research. A couple of rails have multiple PCi-e so keep that in mind and split the load. The PSU does not show you what rails are what so this diagram is needed.

i used to have this psu... theres nothing wrong with it, its a pretty standard one and runs well. it died however, when i tried to plug in a new miner while it was on.. so obviously quite dumb on my part, but it was toast after that... i had someone inspect it, and the cost to repair was not really worth it

if your not a dumbass like myself theres no good reason not to use this psu for miners.. i dont know if i'd trust it to run my pc tho
