1000watt coolmax or raidmax or some brand I can't remember right now.  It is 80plus bronze certified though.  When I get pics I'll be able to tell ya.

That's a Coolmax 1000W 80Plus Bronze. I have the same one.

To be successful in any business you have to know your costs.  If your costs are too high you won't make a profit.

This is one of the reasons serious miners look at FPGA rigs instead of GPUs.  They can draw less current for the same hashing power.

Electricity's not exactly cheap here. 0.14/KWH

That's half the cost of southern California @ $.28/KWh

I shed a tear every time I see someone mining at stock volts...

I am guessing you're appointing OP should drop or raise em?

Those Sapphire 5830s have an extremely high stock voltage compared to most other 58xx series, which is usually 1.05 or 1.088?  They can be dropped to 1.05 pretty safely, or even lower if you don't mind sacrificing a small MHz loss for a drop in power/temps.

Honestly.  I got too overwhelmed by life to stay up to date on mining.  I just finally updated BAMT from like 0.3 or some version.  It didn't even have a variable in the config file for voltage.  (That I can remember)  Sure wish I would have known earlier.  Electricity's not exactly cheap here. 0.14/KWH

Lower them of course.  They can run way under the default voltage which will lower the current consumption (and temperatures).

Power consumption goes down and lowers your mining expenses.

This is basically the first rig I built and has been running solid since June 2011.  It has been good but, it looks like the era of GPU's is coming to an end.  It has been running in a pretty clean environment.  Very little dust.  I'm going to sell it to the highest offer. This is not an auction, I may sell at any given time.  I want at least $500 plus shipping.

Stats from BAMT (Recently rebooted):
0   api.bitcoin.cz  74.5 c   98%   288.02 Mh/s   55 / 1   1.79%   5800 Series   85% (3763)   900 Mhz   300 Mhz   1.163v
1   api.bitcoin.cz  73.0 c   98%   289.30 Mh/s   87 / 0   0.00%   5800 Series   85% (3695)   900 Mhz   300 Mhz   1.163v
2   api.bitcoin.cz  74.0 c   98%   289.14 Mh/s   77 / 0   0.00%   5800 Series   85% (3716)   900 Mhz   300 Mhz   1.163v
3   api.bitcoin.cz  72.0 c   98%   289.42 Mh/s   75 / 0   0.00%   5800 Series   85% (3811)   900 Mhz   300 Mhz   1.163v

~1150MH/s Total

Specs:
MSI 890FXA GD70
Sempron 140
4x Sapphire 5830
4x PCIe 16x extenders
2GB RAM
4GB Patriot flash drive w/ BAMT
Coolmax 1000W 80Plus Bronze PSU

I'm probably not going to deal with shipping the case unless someone really wants it.  In that case we'll have to recalculate shipping.
