Just to clarify, each stage of the Ethereum release has a planned release of 100 numbered sets. The sets are offered first to the purchaser of the numbered set from the previous releases. (Example: If you purchased set 9 of 100 in Stage 1 and 2, then you will have first option to refuse sets 9 of 100 in stage 3, 4 and 5 releases.)

We will be announcing the second line of Ether bars shortly. This new line is to commemorate stage 2 of the ethereum project "Homestead" - mockups are being rendered. The concept is the same, sets will be made up of 3, 5" bars (1 silver, 1 gold and 1 copper) and numbered as part of the finite set of only 100 (i.e. 1 of 100, 2 of 100, etc.).

Planned stage 2, 3 and 4 Ether bars are presently on hold. I still hope and plan to do these at some point but unfortunately the next stage's batch will not occur until more of the Stage 1 inventory can be cleared out to free up resources. Apologies for those anticipating Stage 2 bars, but as I said, I do still plan on running these as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

I can order extras with my next order, but this option will have to wait for the next 5" bar line production (nothing set in stone as of now regarding this).

Is it worth also making a option for the velvet case option to fit casascius bars .... (I never found a case for those ones)
There would definately be a market for those .... may also help get the FBD velvet case going as well (ie greater volume / leverage with the manufacturer)

How big are the Casas. bars?? They seem large in the pictures I have seen. At least bigger than the f*D ones.

Yesterday I used a Ethereum address generator to make QR codes and put the holos over the private keys. I'm not funding them. I prefer my DIY to look complete with the holos even if I don't fund them.
Do you feel that this adds to the overall value/resale of a coin/bar??

Personally I prefer a coin or bar that has been assembled. I collect rather than store btc so I don't need wallets to store btc personally. I don't think it adds value but just looks better assembled if it came originally as a diy.
I would pay more to have it assembled, since it takes some hassle out of doing it myself.
I know others prefer these as diy, but for me, I may be the minority.

A nice thing with this production line is that you can assemble the bar for a completed look and still have the extra hologram should you decide to load or reload in the future.

Very good question gravitate! Yes, these are loadable. Ether operates similarly to Bitcoin in that it has a private key for an address. Once you load funds to an address, you would simply print out the private key on a 3/4" circle template, cut the circle out, place it in the indented 3/4" area of the bar and finally cover it up with the tamper resistant hologram. To redeem the funds the hologram must be removed to expose the private key which can then be imported into the Ether wallet.

Update: Certificate of Authenticity cards have all been created and holograms are in stock. Just waiting for the bars to deliver tomorrow.

I think this would be nice, but I personally feel a velvet presentation case is the better option as it can also hold the C of As. Maybe I will start a group buy reservation thread to see what kind of interest there is overall in the cases. I know I will take some for my personal bars...
