You're about 4 weeks too late.

Yeah you would preview 4 weeks ago that SolidCoin would go off to maintenance.

You're a genius.

and I guess i should forget how much btc i have earned since mining solids, heck the first day I got 12 btc from a 5770, which is about what i should make in nearly a year of BTC mining. And since I AM here to make money, and since I DID make money, isnt that the def of success?

You heard it folks: Define your success by how many BITCOINS you made.

well I sold them BTC for dollars and used them to pay my bills.. SO I guess us dollars are the standard of success.

You seem full of platitudes that are devoid of any intellectual content.

Actually, there are solid reasons to believe that "skewed" adjusts are bad. That's why, after consulting with a number of highly proficient individuals, I have decided against mirroring that stuff in Geist Geld (not that it needs it, with it's scary-fast blocks )

yes, SLC had a good chance to be success but if your project lead is so damn stupid -  all you are going to get is shit storm in your favorite tea cup.

steve jobs isnt a douche?

I dnt agree with everything realsolid has said or done, but I judge my success by my income.

That sounds like a well-rounded approach.

I dnt agree with everything realsolid has said or done, but I judge my success by my income. The question here isnt "is solid coin going to take over btc" and the question isnt "is solid coin going to last", the question is "is solidcoin a fiasco or a success"

and for me and many others it has been an astounding success. I have made more off SC than any other crypto currency. It also survived the entire "omg he changed the licensing" fiasco, which BTC would NOT have survived IMO. Not after losing 5/6ths of it;s hash power. Not only did it survive but the price has recovered back to where it was before the contravercy. TO me this says his difficulty algorithm was an astounding success. shit look what it has done for I0coin and I0coin is sitting at below 500 difficulty and yet is trading at more profitability than BTC most of the time.

If you want to define success on the idea if the lead guy is like-able, then a good bit of us mega corps are not successes and it doesnt matter how much money they have made for you. Personally I treat this like a business and it doesnt matter if the ceo is a dick, if he produces results. just look at steve jobs. You dont get much more arrogant, or more closed minded(who needs a two button mouse) than steve jobs

yeah no features.. like multi wallet support, fast transactions(i can get my coins to market in 1/3 the time of btc), a difficulty algorythm that keeps solidcoin mining constantly more profitable than btc mining and various secruity fixes that btc doesnt have but besides all that your right it ads nothing to the equation.
